40 Pin Breakaway Headers 0.1" Male Equal Length 2.54mm, Pack of 10

I use these on breadboards for electrical circuits. They fit into the .1" holes perfectly. I use connector cables that fit the other ends as well. They can all be used together without having to break these into single units. I can easily break these into whatever lengths I need without worrying about them shorting out. I like using them and have now used hundreds.

They're basically a quality product. Not a whole lot to go wrong really... Correct pitch and they're not brittle or anything...

Fits my testing requirements perfectly. Easy to snap to size and the long pins make it really easy to connect Logic analyzers and scopes to the test board sockets.

Though the pins extend long enough to perform top and bottom connections on a pcb (like the yellow ones), the center connections that break away are plastic. The shiny picture makes them look like the pins are already connected with metal; the cubes are plastic, just like in the larger variety packs. Unless they sent me the wrong product.

I use these to make a charging lead for charging one cell in a Lipo battery. One or two cell may be hard to balance when charging all at the same time. I make a lead that allows me to charge or discharge the cells that are out of balance compared to the other cell. This way, I do not have to over charge or try to discharge the higher voltage cells. These pins are just great for this purpose.

The symmetric design let me easy connect two female connectors together by using this in between them. Easy to cut to length.
