Excellent quality switch
Can't really beat these switches for longevity. Built like a tank!

It's an Oak Gribsy. It's a quality switch.
It is fitted and working as designed so can't add to that. I can't really comment on durability until after it has been used for a year but historically these are long lasting because they are well made. On that basis I would recommend.

Does not fit thin body strats may need to remove some wood too fit
Great replacement part may need to modify a bit of wood to fit in body because it's a big part compared to original box switch so get ready too do the work or stick with the box import style

Does the job, not the highest quality
Did the job, but slightly loose and jiggly on the contacts, particularly between position 4 and 5 in this particular case. Frankly, expected a bit better quality, but it's working all right. Next time around, I'll probably opt for the other slightly more expensive brand.

Squier Strat (Indonesia Version) OEM Switch Swap
The switch in our Squier Strat was no longer working. We purchased the Oak Grigsby 5-way Blade Switch to replace it. The difference in sound quality is amazing, we should have swapped it out long before the OEM switch died. First it did take some time to figure out the wiring from the OEM switch to the new switch. Google and Youtube assisted with this and we soldered the new switch. Once we tried to screw down the fingerboard we realized the pickup cavity was too shallow, which meant the switch didn't work entirely. We used a 10mm drill bit to slowly drill to depth, so the switch would fit. I placed a small square of aluminum foil in the pickup base, then pressed the switch lightly down with the fingerboard attached. This made an outline of where we needed to drill.

Good 5 way switch
Fits most any guitar requiring a blade switch. The holes lined up perfectly for my Squier rebuild. Solid construction and easy to solder on.
