Bed Head A Wave We Go Tourmaline Ceramic Adjustable Hair Waver | Create Different Types of Waves

I absolutely LOVE my new Bed Head Waver Crimper! Not only does it have variable heat settings going up to 400 degrees; it heats up very quickly AND will automatically shut off if not in use after an hour (a safety feature to avoid burning your house down and conserve energy...joke! LoL) It is so much easier to use since it's smaller than other wave barrels I've owned. I've used a few that were just to bulky to handle (to a point I'd burn myself), but not this one. Also, I love that you can choose between three (wave) levels by turning the dial to achieve the wave you want. I've included pictures to show you what this awesome crimper can do, although the picture does not do it justice; it looks more beautiful in person. To achieve these particular waves, I set it to level one. I must add that it was my first time using it too; therefore I feel I'll get better and better as I continue to get used to it (I'm mainly used to straightening my hair). Overall, it is an awesome waver crimper that I highly recommend. It has variable heat settings based on your hair type; it heats quickly; shuts off if not in use after an hour (in case you forget to turn it off); gives beautiful, shiny, soft waves that look beautiful and actually lasts. Yes yes yes! Gives the same results as the viral ones you see on social media PLUS you can adjust it to many different waves you want your hair style to be! Therefore, you don’t need to be buying more than 1 to get different waves. This one is all-in-one. The price is perfect for everything it does. I own many bed head hair tools and they last YEARS.

Love this tool - I like that it has adjust depths of waves for your style. I like that it gives my hair body and texture without all the added products to my hair!

Best waver ever. I have purchased this before but had to replace it due to moving. It works on all hair lengths. I have 4c hair and sometimes wavers do not hold in my hair.

Great tool! Cost less than that other waver that's gotten alot of traction lately (its pink, I don't know). It does have a smell once first plugged in but that goes away quickly once you start using it. I have thick, long, wavy hair and I did my whole head in 15 mins. So much easier than a curling iron and matches my wavy hair pattern so I can use it to touch up flat pieces. Nice weight to it, easy to use, and effective. Just make sure you understand heat setting and how long to hold it depending on YOUR hair. Some Notes: Be very very careful when you get close to your ears. Those two prong irons have no protection so there's a chance you could burn yourself. Just be safe and aware!

Worked well until it didn't. Curl retention was good, easy to use but quit working after 5 months.

Absolutely LOVE 💜 this Bed Head crimper! I know there’s still a small amount of a strange stigma around using a crimper “wave” heated-hair tool. I think some people automatically think 80s/90s crazy crimped teased wild hair or depending on age, it’s come-back in the 2000s. BUT, this tool is most definitely NOT that! It doesn’t give that tight wave that is the “crimp” but more of a relaxed wave in comparison. It it still going to give more than a beachy-wave for sure but what i also like it the sizing of the wave is adjustable. I will admit that it may seem more adjustable than it truly is; you twist the round black knob at the tip and it either pushes the middle piece of the plate on the tool inwards (smaller waves) or outwards (larger waves). To be honest adjusting the knob doesn’t make a huge difference: what really makes the difference of how you use it! If you want smaller, more waves closer together, when you have your piece of hair, starting from the scalp, when you’re working your way down, simply place the plate closer to where your last spot that you held it on was. And vice versa, if you want the largest wave possible, which is what I like, set the knob so it sticks out the most it can, and again, always starting at scalp, grab a piece of hair that is approx 1”-2” max in “width” (you don’t want it to be a strand of hair like you’d grab to curl, more like when you’re straightening your hair, you don’t want a thick piece of hair) and place it with your hair spread evenly in between the two hot plates, starting as close to the scalp as possible but of course be very careful to not burn your hands fingers scalp etc etc etc!!!!! Clamp down on the strand and hold for a few seconds. The tool does have heat setting options which is awesome! We all know to avoid major hair damage we need to use the lowest possible heat setting that works for our hair type. I happen to have have hair that unfortunately needs high heat or 5 minutes after I do my hair it falls completely flat. The highest setting is what I use but be warned is it extremely hot! Not as hot as some professional heat tools I’ve used but still very hot. After holding the iron clamped together for a few seconds you unclamp, and I suggest lightly (because your hairs hot) holding the clump of hairs you’re working on, loosely towards the end of the hairs, that way as you’re moving down down the strands, when you unclamp, the hairs won’t fall in and be mixed in with your other, non-wavey hairs. Where you choose to place the plates on the second time and so on as you move down the scalp, will produce either more loose waves or tighter more crimp-esque waves; to get the most loose, most “soft” waves, place the end of the plate so that it starts on the last area the plate touched on the first clamp. You’ll keep doing so, moving down the strands working from scalp to tip. I will post pictures. Best parts of this tool is that it’s a great tool where you don’t need to be perfect because it looks great no matter where you place the plates really! It’s meant to look natural and wavy and wild Shakira-like! And also it stays for DAYS! I personally only wash my hair approximately 2x a week. I’ll wash my hair on Sunday night, let it air dry, use a light, doesn’t leave any tho of residue type of heat protectant in the morning Monday, use the waver tool and with a small amount of dry shampoo worked in, and my hair will last 3-4 days depending on my workout schedule lol. I’m able to sleep, wake up, brush it, dry shampoo if needed, tousle tousle and flip my head around and it looks great on days 2,3 & 4. Another great way to use this is also a half up do, loose ponytail, loose side bun, loose braids of any type or a top knot/bun. It my hairstyle 🦄 tool! My favorite styling tool: my lifesaver, 🦄 tool! ABSOLUTELY FREAKIN FANTASTIC! Let me enumerate the reasons: 1- Quality made: Wow, attention to detail. There is a velcro wrap for the cord to put away (only my laptop provided me with this!0. It has a very sturdy cover for the plug (I don't even own anything that's provided this!) 2- Weight is not too heavy, nor too light 3- Handle is easy to grip 4- There are more than 3 heat settings (again, Wow!) 5- VERY easy to use (watched a couple of youtube videos) I used it out of the box yesterday, rushing, thinking this could be a disaster. My hair was pin straight, just past my jawline, had a bit of chi product (for heat protection). Here goes: 1- Sectioned it into about 4, using big clips (have a big head) 2- Bec my hair takes a curl VERY easily, put the heat at 325 3- Started off by using the largest size curl (your turn the knob on top) but, as I went along in the back area, closer to the nape, turned the it to the lower/smaller curl 4- There's no 'beep' or timer for you to figure when it's curled BUT, after your first section in it, you will immediately be able to see if you need a higher temp and also for how long you'd want it. I prefer to fry my hair as little as possible :) 5- Did my whole head in about 15 mins. Have 2 bathroom mirrors that strategically allows me to see the back and side of my head. That was VERY helpful for a first timer! 6- Once all curled, parted it, styled it a bit. Holy smokes, it looks AMAZING! I slept on it and this morning, ladies, it looks even BETTER!! Btw, I was bit nervous that the barrel itself might be scalding hot but, I slightly grazed my finger on it while doing my virgin-rush-styling and my skin did NOT get scorched. I guess at 325, it's not bad. I did however buy a heat styling glove fr Amazon too for the next time around (int he mial today). Bottom line: BED HEAD YOU ARE THE BOMB!!! Esta es mi segunda waflera, la primera que tuve es de una marca diferente sencilla, que realmente me funcionaba en un aspecto básico, al ya tener experiencia puedo concluir que está Waflera Bead Head es sin duda genial, alcanza temperaturas más altas a mí no me maltrata el cabello utilizo protector de calor, puedo hacer ondas muy marcadas o ligeras el tiempo de acción es rápido, para mí es ligera, es profesional, para mí es perfecta!! Puedo usarla de manera sencilla, los botones de control de temperatura está entre las placas así q no hay forma de apagarla por accidente, si olvidas apagarla en 1 hora ella se apaga solita, el único pero es q no tiene algún seguro o algo para cerrar las placas pero eso es lo de menos, la cierro con una dona de cabello una vez q se enfríe y listo!!😘

I love this thing! It’s great, it’s easy to use and it’s fast to heat up, the picture is the day after so it’s long lasting which everyone loves. But I did realize that the longer you use it the more it heats up a bit and then you get even better results. So when you turn in on and it’s done flashing, wait another 10-15 minutes for it to heat up some more and you’ll get even better results.

A embalagem estava meio judiada, torci para que estivesse funcionando... na próxima vez poderiam embalar de forma mais segura com uso de isopor ou plástico bolha. Chegou e já fui testar o produto. Estava em dúvida entre esse e outros produtos e não me arrependi. Fiz a melhor escolha. Amei a possibilidade de trocar de tamanho das mexas. O resultado é incrível. Detalhe que fiz com muito cabelo e nem separei as mexas direito e já tive um resultado adorável.
