Excelent fit and finish
Amazing construction, fabric weight, and mostly the fit. This is the only authentic fit Okinawa/ Japanese fit Karate do-gui. That means the pants are slightly above ankle, and top sleeves above wrist. This is EXACTLY how a Karate uniform is supposed to fit. The fit and proportions look sharp and make a perfect sound. I wish it wasn't sold out I need another. Cons: I wish the actual drawstring of the pants was a little longer, it would make this even better. Also for the jacket top, I personally would prefer a slightly longer cut, this is the only aspect that is more "western style" similar to fugi's other uniforms. For the money, you're definitely getting a 200$ level gui more or less, albeit the cons I mentioned.

Great gi. Fits nicely.
I'm 5'11 and 265 (muscular, broad shoulders). Size 7 fits me well. Had a 6 but would snag on my knees and as it shrunk really bound up my shoulders. 7 is a loose around my belly but otherwise fits well.

Everything went better than expected!
Read up on several brands of gi, and went with this one (over paying for the 16oz Kwon that I used to use for competition). I’m glad I did. This thing is super soft, and moves with a nice crisp feel. I thought I was settling, but I’m actually very happy with the 14oz weight. I was able to order an additional one (so 2 total Fujis) for the price of one of what I *thought* I wanted. 7/5 with (sticky) rice.

Good Looking and heavy weight
This is truly a really good Gi, I have had Fuji Gis in the past which have lasted for years. I am sure this one will also. My only caution is to be very careful when washing as it will shrink a lot if washed and dried incorrectly. (Ask me how I know) That is the only reason I am only giving four stars in this review.

excelente calidad

The best I had so far!
It is the right size (I ordered size 4, I am 5'8" and medium built), the quality is amazing, stitching very well done, packaging great (not that it matters when u are using the gi, not the package). My teachers were (and still are) in love with how it looks and snaps (part of it has to do with the technique, hehe). It has the quality of a 300 dollar gi, and feels soft and very heavy weight at the same time. Perfect! It is a Japanese cut though, so arms and legs are shorter than what Americans use, just as an info. I am old school, this works out for me. Will get another one in a few weeks.Guess what, I got the second one! Love it! It doesn't shrink in wash, just got to iron it when slightly damp, or hang to dry. Stays soft, snaps loud, wears well, and everyone is impressed when I tell them the price.

Heavy duty Gi for heavy duty training!
Super though Gi! Looks great too.If you're looking for a Gi to train old school karate where you might even be grappling a lot also,,,then this Gi is perfect! It can take it! Thicker than a regular karate Gi and thinner than a judo Gi. The pants and top are of the same feel and material, not like a judo Gi. Very hard feel at first until you break it in. Yes, you have to break this Gi in like a good pair of boots. I'm sure this Gi will last a long time!PS: I bought the 3 and 4 cause I'm 5,10 170. The 3 fits perfectly, like the picture...The 4 top was perfect too (just fit a little looser), but the 4 pants fit big in the waist .. they do have a string and will shrink a little bit, but still looks good.

Good value heavyweight Gi
Size 5 was a Perfect fit for my teen son who is about 5'11", 180 lb - no alterations needed. I would also consider getting one myself, but the size 5 pants seem perfect while I am sure I need a size 6 jacket (I'm 6'2", 205lb). Too bad that you can't get tops and bottoms separately.
