It's a concept I've seen before, however my issue would be thinking the product would be bigger, as I'd have to fold the note several times to actually make it fit, in addition I'm not sure if it works with plastic notes which are currently being circulated

Getting the folded and rolled note in the tube is not easy, BUT it is MUCH easier if you apply one small "trick" not mentioned in the instructions (well, not that I saw anyway).Firstly, don't try to make the roll tight as you first roll it up, after you've got a loose roll, use the metal "winder" to tighten it "from the inside". [Do fold it very neatly before you start rolling.]The main trick though is to push the rolled note into the cap and then put the cap on the main body (the cap has a smaller internal diameter). If you do it the other way around the cap tends to catch on the note making the cap almost impossible to close.I wonder what happens when I (well the kids who I gave these to) lose the metal winder bit. Do True have lots more to send out as replacements? And at what cost? [Edit: They don't have spares, the idea that drunk teenagers might just lose the small metal "winder" piece in the back of some taxi when in slight panic because of not having any other cash just don't seem to have occurred to them. "ask for a warranty replacement" was suggested to me, which hardly seems appropriate given that the product was not exactly "faulty".]This is quite a good "True Utility" product, let down by poor instructions this time rather than by poor execution or some other fault (see reviews of their eyeglass magnifier TU234 and TrueLite Micro TU303 mini pocket torch).

This I bought as a present for a friend, I got one myself some time back which has saved my bacon thanks to the cash stash in it (not the fake one it comes with, the real note I put in :o). My one, in black, has had a lot of use and as such the colouring has started to wear off a little. It is still in use after 2 years and apart from my car and house keys, and the True Utility torch on my key ring, it is definitely something I would not do without.It is made of strong light metal and the ring mounting seems very robust. It does have a rubber ring to seal it so should be pretty water tight, though I've not put that to the test.When you are 40 miles from home and pull into a petrol station for a drink and sandwich and realise you have left your wallet at home, it has suddenly become the best purchase you have made trust me... as long as you remembered to replace the note from your last Stash-raid.

This seems like a nice item, but it has one very big design flaw.When screwing on the cap, it pushes off the O-ring, loosing the cap, and removing the waterproofing.I will return this.Get the + model instead, it seems great.

This item is just too small for the job. Notes have to be folded and rolled so small that it's virtually impossible to get the cap back on once you have a note inside. I made several attempts and couldn't even fit a £5 note into it.

I advise throwing away the enclosed little rod that is provided for you to wrap the note around, as it doesnt really help to fold the note and adds extra bulk. A £20 note is a bit of a squeeze but after a couple of attempts I got it inside the tube.All in all good, but has to be said somewhat pricey for what it is.

I’ve had one of these for years, but recently bought my partner one as she keeps forgetting her purse.Within 24 hours she had cause to use it as the card machines at the local shopping centre had stopped working. Having this meant she didn’t have the hassle of chasing round trying to find a cash machine.

Perfect product. Fits on my keyring and is extremely small. It is ideal for nights out as unlike with larger products it still fits very well in a small clutch bag! I like that it is black and therefore doesn't stand out at all! Although a minor negative would be that it can take a decent amount of time to get a note in there but it comes with a piece fitted inside it to wrap the note around. It sadly took me quite a lot of frustration before I worked it out.This item is completely waterproof. One of my friends keeps medicine in hers and she has never had an issue!. It is ideal for its purpose.It has honestly saved my bacon a few times with taxi money! It is such a wise buy. Especially as a university student having a little back up cash has been so useful!

Encontre este producto buscando pastilleros para llavero, imbecilmente creí que podria usar este producto como tal. La gran sorpresa fue que es mucho mas pequeñon de lo que creí asi que solamente podre darle el uso indicado el cual es usarlo como un "mini money stash" o un pequeño escondite de dinero para llavero. Igual el material es bastante bueno y cumple con su funcion perfectamente aunque al parecer el dinero Mexicano (MXN) no le agrada, pues no quizo tragarse un billete de 500 hasta que lo doble con extremo cuidado.

Ideal um einen "Notgroschen" sicher aufzubewahren. Da die Geldscheinbox wirklich sehr klein ist (knapp 4 cm ohne Ring) kann man wirklich nur einen Geldschein 5-50 € unterbringen. Alternativ kann man die Kapsel sicherlich auch für kleine Tabletten, Süßstoff, Hörgerätebatterien, Adresszettel usw. verwenden.Geliefert wird die Aluminium-Kapsel in einer ebenfalls wasserdichten schönen Acrylbox welche auch für andere Dinge verwendet werden kann.Der Geldschein wird in der Kapsel sicher und natürlich auch wasserdicht verwahrt. Die Wasserdichtigkeit wird durch ein sehr feines Gewinde mit zusätzlicher Gummidichtung (O-Ring) erreicht.Aufgrund der Größe muss man bei einem 50€ Schein schon zwei bis drei Versuche unternehmen um den Schein auf die richtige Größe zu rollen. Es wird eine zusammengerollte Beispielbanknote mitgeliefert, die man gut zur Probe nehmen kann. Auf dieser sind auch alle Schritte des Zusammenrollens gut erklärt. Eine kleine Metallspange hilft hier beim aufrollen des Geldscheins. Tip: Den zusammengerollten Geldschein nicht direkt in die Kapsel stecken da man dann oft mit dem Schraubgewinde ins Gehege kommt, sondern in die Kappe stecken und das dann zusammen verschrauben. Da die Prozedur des zusammenrollens aber doch etwas aufwendigt ist, macht es sicherlich keinen Sinn den Schein regelmäßig zu verwenden. Ich verwende die Kapsel als Teil meines Get Home Bag und werde nur in der "Not" auf den 50€ Schein zurückgreifen (z.b. bei Verlust des Portmonnais). Sonst bietet sich natürlich der Schlüsselbund, Hundehalsband usw. ebenfalls an.Andere Kommentatoren haben teilweise bemängelt, dass die Bohrung für den Ring nicht 100% mittig ist und die Gefahr besteht das die Bohrung sich durchschabt oder bricht. Das ist bei meinem Exemplar nicht der Fall. Es bastante bonito, sí. Es de buena calidad, sí. Pero es increiblemente pequeño, es muy complicado lograr doblar un billete mexicano de tal manera que entre en él. En mis imagenes adjuntas pueden darse una idea del tamaño.Lo que lo salva es que con mucha paciencia realmente pueden meter un billete dentro y su estuche de plástico es bastante práctico, útil para lo que desees y también se sella perfectamente.Lo recomiendo solo si no te importa que sea difícil de meter billetes y si el estuche te llama la atención.

Sin duda alguna un buen producto, pequeño, ligero y discreto sobretodo, le caben billetes de $100, $200 pesos mexicanos sin ningún problema, debido a que es para emergencia no conviene meterle más, al ser muy pequeño podría perderse pero bueno.Se siente fuerte y firme y el sello contra agua igual.Como extra, la caja (estuche) con el que viene igual es contra agua así que se puede utilizar para transportar cosas pequeñas para un viaje como cables y cargador cosas por el estilo.Funcional si te preocupa quedarte sin dinero o si temes perder el dinero guardado en la bolsa pequeña del pantalón.

Ich wollte einen kleinen Notfallgroschen am Schlüsselbund mit mir führen, sollte einmal der Geldbeutel auf einer Reise nicht auffindbar sein. Also Habe ich mir dieses Produkt gekauft. Meine Bewertung:Material/Verarbeitung:Das Gehäuse ist stabil aus Aluminium und dementsprechend auch angenehm leicht.Das Schraubgewinde ist gut verarbeitet und hält fest.Einziger Makel: Der Gummiring ist recht schlapprig, beim zuschrauben verrutscht er schnell und wird fast zerrissen. Hier ist also Vorsicht geboten.Form/Verwendung:Die Box ist sehr klein und deshalb gut am Schlüsselbund zu tragen ohne dass sie stört.Das Problem: dementsprechend eng muss der Geldschein gefaltet werden um auch hineinzupassen. Es sind einige Versuche nötig,bis man einen Geldschein einmal ordentlich verstaut hat. Durch den kleinen Metallclip im Inneren hat man eine kleine Hilfe und bekommt das Geld auch wieder sehr einfach und ohne Gezerre und Gereiße heraus.Das Produkt kommt in einer fest verschlossenen Plastikbox, diese ist wetterfest und kann zur Aufbewahrung von Handys und Mp3-Playern genutzt werden!Mein Fazit: An sich ist das Produkt gut und macht was es soll: Geld sicher am Schlüsselbund zu verstauen.Allerdings könnte de Gummiring verbessert und der Durchmesser um einige wenige Millimeter vergrößert werden.

Gadget simpatico si abbina bene a tutte le chiavi per il suo materiale metallico, è davvero piccolo, forse troppo, e risulta (quasi) inutilizzabile nella sua funzione "secondaria". Facendo una prova, per inserirvi una banconota da 20€ ho dovuto piegarla 3 volte e successivamente arrotolarla molto stretta finendo per stropicciarla molto. Una volta tolta la banconota era molto rovinata ma comunque intera ed utilizzabile.Vista quindi la funzionalità "ridotta" lo consiglio maggiormente per la sua l'originalità.

Ich hatte schon vor Jahren das gleiche Teil und war zufrieden.Jetzt habe ich das Teil verloren und ich brauchte schnellstmöglich Ersatz.Gestern bestellt und heute da. Leider ist die Wasserdichte Box zerbrochen bei mir angekommen.Da ich aber keine Zeit für hin und herschicken mehr habe werde ich es so behalten.Bin trotzdem unzufrieden mit der Lieferung.

Muchas veces he olvidado la cartera o incluso no la llevo encima puesto que pienso que no la necesitaré como por ejemplo para salir a correr. Pero las llaves es algo que siempre suelo llevar y con ellas esta práctica cápsula estanca en la que tengo puesto un billete de 5€ que me ha salvado en muchas circunstancias. No he probado introducir un billete mayor pero no creo que tuviera problemas. Me parece un gran invento y como ya he indicado, me ha salvado de muchos imprevistos.

in certe occasioni potrebbe essere molto importante avere quei 50 € di riserva, voglio pensare ai momenti in qui ci si è dimenticati il portafoglio in macchina o a casa, oppure di uscire essendo sicuri di avere il portafoglio con qualcosa dentro e al momento di andare a pagare accorgersi di non avere abbastanza denaro e che il commerciante con accetta il bancomat, beh tutte storie di vita vissuta, ma con questo accessorio tutto questo è dimenticato

Ottima soluzione per avere sempre una "riserva" in caso di necessità. Io lo utilizzo anche per quando esco a correre e porto con me solo le chiavi di casa. Agganciato al portachiavi di casa, non da il minimo fastidio e consente di avere sempre un po' di soldi in caso di necessità. Il contenitore è a tenuta stagna e credo che resista tranquillamente anche all'acqua. Acquisto consigliato.

La capsula è veramente piccola, compreso anello è della stessa lunghezza di una chiave yale, wally ect...La banconota va piegata per la lunghezza, inserita nella mollettina contenuta dalla capsula e avvolta intorno ad essa; la mollettina è un pezzo separato dalla capsula, per l'inserimento della banconota viene più comodo inserirla nella parte superiore(con l'anello) e avvitare il tutto nella parte inferiore.Il contenuto della capsula rimane sempre asciutto grazie alla guarnizione presente sul filetto.Buon prodotto piccolo e smart
