Essential portable air compressor.
This is one of those products that you should keep in your car at all times, like a mini jump start battery. In the last few years the technology is finally getting small enough to not take up too much room in your vehicle storage. I picked this up because I hate digging for change and heading to a gas station just to make sure my tire pressure is correct. It airs up my car tires and my wife loves the "bonus" attachments to air up other household items.Let me just say that I didn't think a unit this small would be powerful enough, or have the battery life to air up my tires.... I was dead wrong. In the package you get the compressor, a rechargeable battery, a lighter socket plug in attachment, 2 air hoses (one for tires and one for other uses), a handful or air adapters (more on that in a minute), a manual, and 4 metal valve caps. This thing is super simple to operate. Plug in the battery or socket attachment, screw on the appropriate hose, set your desired psi on the back panel, attach to your tire, and press the button. From there it's automated and will stop pumping air when it reaches your desired psi. The battery life seems ok, I emptied 2 tires and refilled them and still had most of the battery. The unit is also faster than I expected. (It's still as loud as previous gen air compressors). The attachment to refill your soccer balls, air mattresses, etc have a storage compartment inside the bettery. Nice touch from the engineering team to keep the small parts accounted for. There's even attachments to fill presta valve tires. As long as you keep everything in the case, the unit is remarkably compact and will slide under a seat.I have one minor complaint about the unit that isn't really a deal breaker. The threads you screw the hose on to are slightly recessed in the body of the pump in a way that makes it difficult to get a good grip to reach the knurling on the hose. Maybe they designed it this way to protect the internal threading? A work around would have been to extend the knurling on the hose just a little so far and old fingers can get a good purchase. I was still able to attach and detach the hose no problem.I am pretty pleased with this device and I'm planning to get another one for my wife's car next.

Updated review - Excellent product/vendor support
Initially I wrote a 1 star review as the product did not work as expected. The only way to get this to work was to hold the battery in while using. I then contacted the vendor and they responded immediately apologizing for the issue. They requested a picture of the problem and then sent a replacement which I have received and confirmed works as it should. I have subsequently changed my review to 5 stars based on exceptional customer support by a vendor who cares about customer satisfaction and their product. Thank you.

Splendid air compressor but it seems inaccurate
I love this compressor. I've owned two other portable compressors in my life so far and this is by far, the best one. BUT everything has it's faults. One problem I have so far with this portable air compressor is it's accuracy. I would set the target pressure, press the trigger to start the device, it would start filling air and after some time, the LCD would indicate it reached set pressure but the pump would still be running. I would then proceed to turn off the device by pressing the trigger again, re-read the current pressure and then come to realize that it hasn't reached the set pressure as yet. Now I can easily get around this by two ways: I can set the target pressure slightly higher to compensate OR I can just keep restarting the device until it reaches target pressure. I've actually had the device function perfectly a few times of using it; meaning the device actually shuts off when the target pressure has been met, but as to why it worked well those few times, IDK. All I'm trying to say is that the device should sensibly work as I expect it to. Not sometimes (and in my case, barely). There is the other problem (which I've seen I few people report here) that the device doesn't even power on at all when the trigger is pressed. I've witnessed the issue and know why it's doing this. It happens if the valve connector is not properly fitted to the tire valve stem, leading it to possibly give a higher reading that what the target pressure is set to and hence triggering the auto-shut-off function. And since the current pressure is actually greater than the target pressure, it doesn't even turn on (start filling air). To clarify this with an example: Say your target pressure is set to 250 kPA, you improperly hook up the device, then the device reads the current pressure as 265 kPA. If you press the trigger button to start filling air, then the device won't even start pumping because current pressure > target pressure. You can get around this by simply re-tightening the valve connector. I think that they should perhaps flash the LCD, make a buzz sound, or anything for that matter, to alert the user that it's the auto-shut-off function taking over so the user doesn't think the device has malfunctioned.I love everything else about this device; the portability, the portable drill-like design and a few other things but the inaccurate pressure and auto-shut-off mechanism needs re-thinking.

not as advertised
Easy to use if it only worked. I purchased to fill 2 small airbags that need 110lb of pressure and need to be filled about once per week. The inflation was successful the first 2 times I used it in the past month. Now it stops at 75LB and will not turn back on (this happened the last 2 times even with a full battery). Probably ok for lower psi, but not effective for the listed limits

Great Deal!
I purchased this for my son. It appears to be identical to the yellow colored inflator I recently purchased from a different company through Amazon, however, this inflator is $5 cheaper. The battery is easy to charge and enables you to use the inflator without needing an extension cord. All that needs to be done is to set the desired tire pressure, pull the trigger to get it started, then set it down. The inflator will shut off once the tire has reached the set pressure. It will easily top off all 4 tires with battery power to spare.
