I bought this particular item because of the peel roller; these are just incredible at peeling garlic quickly and easily without that sticky mess you get doing it by hand. It works perfectly (it must be thoroughly dry to work, so if it is wet or even damp, it will not "grab" onto the garlic shell and will just roll around uselessly. Dry it out, retry, and that peel comes right off when you roll it between your hands as if you were warming them in front of a fire.).So I was happy to have this again since my last one disappeared as such things are wont to do. The press itself is fine, a bit small and not much heft to it, but good for smaller garlic cloves and very easy to clean; it clips the skin more than my old press, so that means I get the skin in one piece while the garlic presses out. I'm not sure how this is achieved, really, since it's just a garlic press when you look at it, but I've pressed many cloves with the same result, one skin sunk back and easy to remove while the garlic oozes out into your recipe. On my old one, the skin would be in pieces and make for harder cleaning (getting a brush or toothpick to push out some parts), so this is a real plus with this item. It is, though, smaller, so it works for small cloves, for the bigger ones, I still need to use my old one or cut them in half for the new one (which works well, if not quite as good at the skinning as with a whole clove).Anyway, over all, I love this garlic press and peeler (especially the peeler!) and would definitely buy it again.

First of all, the one downside is that you will need a small brush to clean it with- a toothbrush or something smaller- I struggle to clean it with a toothbrush. But besides that, this works great, it is powerful and has a good lever action in the hands whereby you can obtain a lot of pressure on the garlic and it crushes very easily without much pressing needed. It has not slipped out of my hands at all because of the ergonomic shape of the handles. Also it has a good weight to it and it feels well-made and not cheap.

The oils in the garlic will corrode enamel coated versions so stainless steel is the way to go for a lifetime of use. Happy with it.

Can process husked garlic cloves nicely. Pronges in the lever head push the garlic all the way through the base. Easy to clean

This garlic press ends up squeezing a lot of garlic up and out the sides, rather than crushing all of it. Too small to take a medium or large clove of garlic. Also, it's tough to clean because it doesn't come with a cleaner that's in the shape of the holes. Overall not a very good garlic press.

The seller is lying, there's no stainless steel, it's chrome-plated regulart steel, and it will rust when the coating is chipped.

Very good product easy to use

Looked a good stainless steel press in the pictures and write up, but its no different really than a cheaper one. Don't think it will last.

Garlic press works well (tried once) however this is marketed as stainless and it is not. We will see how long it lasts from use and the dishwasher before the handles snap off. Will write again at that point. Currently happy with the performance
