There is no practical need to do expensive load tests in a lab for this application. That said, they seem quite strong. I wouldn't have a problem putting a hundred or more pounds of pull on them with 1-inch webbing and the right fasteners, which must be part of the load calculation for any real-world application, as well as the material to it's attached to. For example, if you use the provided wood screws and attach it to soft pine, the screws are likely to pull out long before the strap eye fails. On the other hand, if you use grade-five #10 bolts and attach it to the hull of a battleship, the strap eye will likely fail first. **Q: How far are holes center to center?** A: 1.5” apart, center to center. **Q: If these are mounted on 3/4" plywood, will the screws poke through the plywood?
