Just For Men Touch of Gray Mustache & Beard, Beard Coloring for Gray Hair with Brush Included for Easy Application, Great for a Salt and Pepper Look - Light & Medium Brown, B-25/35, Pack of 1

I decided to give Just For Men Touch Of Grey, Light and Medium Brown a try even though I saw some negative reviews. To be honest, those few reviews sound more like people just being difficult — the kind of folks who love to go against everything just for the sake of it. For me, it worked really well. It toned down the gray, gave my beard a more even look, and — most importantly — it looks natural, not fake or artificial. I also had no irritation or issues at all. The best part? People actually told me I looked several years younger right after they saw me — and that alone made it worth it. It’s not magic or perfection, but if you use it correctly and with common sense, it definitely delivers. In my opinion, this is one of the best options out there for beard coloring.

A great balance of color to grey. Easy to use. Unfortunately, my son and grandchildren don't like me having a beard, so I probably won't need to buy it again. If I ever do get to grow a beard again, I think color it pink.

The hair on my head has remained mostly gray-free, but unfortunately my beard has turned about 90% gray. I was looking for something that would get rid of some of the gray in my beard, but wouldn't make it look silly. 'Just for Men Touch of Gray Brush-In Mustache & Beard Color Kit, Light & Medium Brown' was not the answer. This coloring does very little even after multiple applications. I tried 2 applications. After the 1st one, there was absolutely zero difference. I tried a 2nd application a day later and left it in a couple extra minutes. The results were again disappointing. There was hardly a noticeable difference. For about $8, it was worth taking a chance it would work. Unfortunately, it just doesn't make any difference. March 2018 Edit: I've left my original 2 Star review up, but have changed my opinion on the product. I've found that the coloring does work, but it only does over time. As noted, the product did very little the first couple of times I used it. I decided to try using it about once a week over a span of a few weeks. I've found that after about 4 weeks of using it and leaving it in about 10 minutes instead of 5, my beard has achieved the desired results. It's no longer all white. It's a mixture of light brown, dark brown, and a little bit of blonde. It looks pretty good. I'm happy with the results now.

I have maybe written one other review in my entire life but felt compelled enough to write a bad review about my recent shipment of this product. I ordered via Amazon, (Obviously) like I have many times before, but all of a sudden the product I received a couple of days ago was garbage. First application produced zero color and when I went back to try it again the next day I noticed large white clumps coming out of the tube. As I ordered three boxes in this order, I opened up the other two tubes and it was the same thing. Reading from other customers they changed their formula. I have no idea what these clumps are, but I threw all of them away.

I have used Just For Men Touch of Gray Mustache & Beard for years. This year, 2026, the product changed and is no longer the product shown on this page. It uses a different coloring agent than in the past. It does not take away as much gray which is sort of OK but I wish the amount of gray was between the old and the new levels. However, it makes my beard a reddish brown and it becomes redder as the product fades which is the same amount of time as with the old product, about a week. Now my beard and hair are different colors! The new product does not look the same as the old product when in the little dish but that's no matter. What does matter is that at least 20% of the tube is AIR—they're selling you air. I have now seen this in about 4-5 tubes. Also, there are clumps of mysterious white gunk in the product. With the old product I could easily get four applications but with the new product I can get only two applications per tube. The boxes for the old and new products are exactly the same except (1) the new product is indicated to leave on for 10 minutes instead 5, (2) the copyright has changed from 2020 to 2024, and (3) the patent number has changed. Oddly, the patent relates to the applicator attachment found in their hair product but has no bearing on this beard product since it does not use the applicator but the same brush which is nearly impossible to get through my beard. All in all, this new product is a disappointment. It's odd that they didn't re-design the box to give the buyer a heads-up.

My beard looks so natural that when I told my barber that my beard was dyed, she asked what I use so she can share it with her customers. She was very impressed. She says she can always tell the men that dye there hair or beard. She said that mine looks so natural that she had no idea. I teach school. If the kids knew I dyed my hair and beard I would never hear the end of it lol.

I can't believe all the negative reviews, but this has worked well for me. For years, I used Just For Men to do a full coloring on my beard, but as my beard became whiter over time, I gave up on coloring it because it started to become obvious I was doing it. I tried this product and it was even easier to use (no mixing) than the full-color treatment. That said, following their instructions, I didn't see a lot of change the first time, so I started leaving it on for longer and longer times and checking the results. For me, 10 minutes does a great job. Also, I think how you apply it might matter. I start with my mustache first, then under my lower lip, then to the rest of my beard. Seems to give a more natural look. I'm 66 and I'm looking like a man in his 50's. Might not work for everyone (reviews???), but it's working great for me.
