Acne Free Oil Free Acne Cleanser is formulated with 2.5% micronized benzoyl peroxide that quickly and deeply penetrates pores to help clear blemishes and prevent new ones from forming. To complete your body anti-acne regimen, follow with Acne Free Body Clearing Spray. Please be aware that products containing benzoyl peroxide may permanently bleach or stain colored towels and fabrics. While using products with this ingredient, we recommend using a white towel and washcloth to help minimize chances of discoloration.

Review: I want to kiss the CEO of this company - After Curology discontinued their 2.5% benzoyl peroxide cleanser, I’ve had to try over 8 different brands to find a viable alternative. There simply aren’t enough options for benzoyl peroxide formulas, especially at 2.5% concentration. In what few options that do exist at 2.5% concentration, they usually have have several other active ingredients or artificial fragrance & sensitizing compounds. I have an autoimmune condition with a history of severe cystic acne. In my teens, I had to do multiple heavy rounds of accutane, plus some skin bleaching for the scarring. I can’t use concentrations over 2.5% due to my sensitive skin, but still require some benzoyl peroxide. This cleanser is gentle enough to not provoke my auto-immune condition, while effective enough to handle my cystic acne. Easily the highest quality formula around with my requirements. If it weren’t for this, I’d have to go back making my own from raw cosmetic ingredients.

**Q: Does this lather? Reviews are conflicting on an answer**
A: Acne Free Cleanser doesn’t really lather that much. It does, however, clean the entire face with just two quarter size dollops on your hand. I have extremely oily skin and it leaves my skin feeling soft and supple while also feeling squeaky clean. It is even more effective I have found if you allow the cream to sit on your face for a couple minutes before rinsing.

**Q: Are there micro-beads in this? A few reviews mention them but it's not listed anywhere in the product information.**
A: The old formula had them but the current formula doesn't.

**Q: Does this have oil in it?  It says oil free but the ingredients listed include avocado oil and lime oil.**

This is our favorite face wash with benzoyl peroxide and glycolic acid. We've been using it for so many years. They stopped selling in stores, ao I am always happy when we can find it on Amazon. Recently it's been out of stock and I need it!!! Please Acne Free, keep making this formula!!! We always buy the 3 pack whenever we can. Keeps my skin acne free, even at my age with my hormonal acne flare ups.
