There not going to be available much longer, and too bad.
The beauty of these locks is that you can open them without looking at them. You can open them in the dark. You can open them when you don't have your reading glasses on. You can open it when you don't have a key on you. You can open them when you can't get into position to see the face of the lock. You can open them while looking at something else, like to see if someone is watching you. I love them, and have had 4 or 5. I use them outdoors and have good luck with them holding up. I had one fail for unknown reasons. The dial disk moved as it should, but the lock just would not open. I made a warranty claim to Masterlock, and they were quick and helpful, but they said the lock has been discontinued. Really too bad. Such a unique and suitable lock for special cases. I may stock up and buy a bunch of them.

Easy, Fast and Reliable
This is an amazing lock. I was initially a bit concerned about some reviews indicating that the lock would jam, however, after receiving it, I have tested it extensively (locking and unlocking) and the lock appears to work flawlessly. I am amazed at the speed and ease of use and the fact that it can be unlocked without the need to ever look at the lock or to dial-in numbers. The initial (default) combination consisted of 4 steps or movements. I reprogrammed the combination to 7-steps (movements), and it has not failed to open after several hundred test uses. Opening the lock is not just easy, it’s fast – very fast. My lock has only been used as an indoor device (no exposure to rain or freezing) so I cannot say how well the lock will work if exposed to weather. However, for indoor weather-protected use (for example, a cabinet, a door or a gym locker) I expect it to continue working reliably. I chose this lock because of the simplicity of design – it is fully mechanical (no batteries to recharge, no fingerprint reading with wet or dirty fingers, no wireless app). Additionally, you don’t’ have to do anything to hide the combination after locking (as you would normally do with a lock that has numbers to dial in). In other words, you don’t have to “diddle” the combination after locking it - there is nothing to “diddle”. My intended use is to secure an indoor gym locker while I exercise. If I truly needed locking security at the highest level (a Fort Knox situation) or for use with outdoor weather conditions, I would very likely choose something else – probably key operated. But for easy, very quick access, and indoor use, this is exceptional.

Lock Failed to Open After Only 2 Weeks of Use!
This is a nice and fancy looking lock, however, not reliable! It was very embarrassing to have the Gym Master come into the locker room with the Lock Snipes to cut the lock off the locker! Again, nice looking lock but not reliable and does, on occasions, not open with the correct sequence code. I'm going back to Ol' Reliable'. The "One and Only" standard 'Spin the Dial' Master Combination lock that I used before.

Great Lock, Highly reccomend
Super solid lock—definitely a 5-star buy. What I love most is that you don’t need a key or have to fumble with number dials. Instead, you just use a simple directional code (up, down, left, right), which is way faster and easier to remember. I use it at the gym for my locker, and it’s perfect for that. No stress about losing a key or trying to line up tiny numbers when you’re in a rush. Just swipe the combo and you’re in. It’s built well too—feels secure and durable. For anyone who wants something reliable, quick to unlock, and key-free, this is a great pick. Ideal for lockers, bags, or anywhere you want simple, solid security without the hassle.

Loop higher than a normal padlock's.
Solid lock. Easy to use. Easy to set combo... The top loop seems larger/higher than most regular padlocks, though. Did not fit on a storage locker on which a "normal" combo look would have :(

Easy to use
Isn’t overly sturdy, but I use it for the gym so I’m not overly concerned. Easy to operate and convenient.

Check if it will fit first
Purchase this for a student transitioning from elementary, to Middle School. I figured the directional combination would be easier instead of a numbered dial. I also like the idea of being able to unlock your locker, if and when the lights are off or dim in the hallway. Unfortunately the locker did not allow the shackle to clear the recessed part where the lock would need to go, making the lock unusable for the locker. This is more an issue with the locker, then the lock so I am leaving this at five stars.

Good option for people with limited hand dexterity
I have nerve damage in my hands and was struggling to operate any of the more common combination locks out there. This one was recommend by a coworker who has similar issues with their hands due to a medical condition. I’m happy to say this is easy for me to use! Programming my combination in was simple. I actually returned a different lock id purchased in store because the process to program a combination in was too difficult with my limited hand dexterity. This took minutes to get set up. The one caveat is that once you have your combination in it takes a good amount of force to actually pull the lock open. For me it’s doable but if you have issues pulling with your arms it may not be the best choice.

These locks are great in theory, or if you don’t want to change the combination. The basic problem is that when you set a new combination, you can’t be certain it has been correctly registered until you close the lock. At that point your new combination either works, or it doesn’t - and if it doesn’t you’re stuck with a useless lock that’s good only for the bin. The mechanism is a bit temperamental. About 1 in 10 times that you try to open it with the supplied 4-move code, it doesn’t work. If you enter a new, longer code, the chances of something not quite registering are really quite high. I’ve ordered two locks. For each, I set a new 11-move code for each. In both cases, the lock then wouldn’t open and had to be thrown away. £60 wasted. I appreciate this is because the new code wasn’t correctly set, but I am not daft; I followed the instructions to the letter, practised with the locks a lot beforehand, and set the code extremely carefully. They just aren’t reliable. I suspect this is the main reason they are discontinued. If you do get lucky and manage to set a new code, or are happy to stick with the existing (less secure) 4-move code supplied, then this is probably a great product.
