High quality toy, great value for the $, medium size is perfect for medium-size parrots
Love this toy. I have a Blue-Headed Pionus Parrot, basically a medium-sized parrot a little bigger than an average conure. He can be very hot or cold on toys, there’s no telling. This one I attached to his cage door which is open all day long; he is free to roam on top and all around several rope perches we have around his cage and he has a wide variety of chew toys to choose from. He’s a rescue parrot and I have tried all kind of different chew toys over the years. He really likes this one, started nibbling at it right away and then chewing into it more deeply right away. I can tell this is going to last a while though because the paper is thicker and very tightly folded in layers, and the “tire” is solid from the outer rim all the way to the center. I got the medium one, which is 5.5” in diameter. When they say it is 9.5” long they are including the rope loop and loose fibers at the bottom, so don’t worry that this will be too big, it’s the perfect size for medium-sized and even smaller birds.. If you have a large parrot I think their beaks would shred this size apart very quickly, but for medium and smaller it is great. I can’t speak as to the larger sizes personally, but given the quality of the medium size I would imagine the bigger sizes would be good for larger birds’ beaks. Excellent value for the price.

Hours of fun
This is one of my parrots favorite toys. He will swing with it, use it as a foot toy, hide treats in it and just have a blast pulling it apart. Great foraging toy! Highly recommend for anyone who has a parrot that loves to pull things apart, the bright colors make it a toy that draws their attention in and holds it for hours.

My Senegal Parrot loved it...to death! (the toy, not the Parrot)
I have a little rescue parrot who is pretty much a frightened little bird--any changes to his environment have to happen very slowly. New toys start on the table OUTSIDE his cage, and he'll avoid that area of the table until he gets used to it. Then, toy goes on top of the cage, where he has his outside time, so he can approach it on his own terms. Then, the toy goes INSIDE the cage, in a corner. Then after a few weeks he'll start chewing on it.It usually takes him about a month to adapt to a new toy.Not with this one!I bought this April 14th, and he was so interested in it that it made it through his approval process in record time! It's already in the corner of his cage, and half-demolished, heh.I bought the Medium, but it's actually rather small--I would not recommend this for a super-chewer, or for a very large bird.On durability alone, I would give this 3 stars but my little guy loved it so much that he screamed at me to up the review to 4 stars. :-)

immediate hit for my ringneck
Great if you have a bird who loves destroying things. I think there’s multiple color variations so it may not arrive looking like the photo, mine is tan, green and orange.

Not the sturdiest toy
My cockatiel LOVES so many planet pleasures toys. Watching her shred and destroy these colorful, bird-safe, and interestingly shaped toys is such fun for both of us. However, since she is a smaller bird, she will often climb on these toys in order to get a better vantage point to chew the particular area she wants to chew. On all the other toys I've bought her, this is not a problem aside from her own clumsiness. However this particular toy couldn't hold up to it. It seems to be glued together (likely due to the shape) instead of having a string in the middle that holds it each piece together. Therefore, this toy split open, and was destroyed far faster than usual. Highly recommend any of their other products!

Good toy for my Conure
When I received this ring made out of leaves I placed it in my conure, Stuart’s cage. It took a few days for him to touch it (because it’s new) but then I noticed he was chewing the fringe at the bottom of the ring and then the stars he pulled apart and I can see he’s been working on the ring. A little each day. Good toy for my 16 year old conure, Stuart. Thank you. 🤗
