Spider-Man: An Origin Story (Marvel Origins)

This was purchased for my grandson to take to school on World book day .He wore a costume and his mum thought it a good idea to take the book too.

Great buy, also for kids for getting into the world of spiderman. Bought it for a nephew currently learning English as second language. It's a bit tough to read in that context (maybe 1 year of further learning necessary). For kids, it's a great print because of the big fontsize, the higher line-spacing and the adequate language. That said, it is a *book*, not a comic - no illustrations within the book. That said, as a book, it's great.

Yeah seems good, not right for my son yet (he's nearly 5) but probably in a year or two due to it being quite long and very little pictures.

Slightly disappointed was expecting a comic but got a book instead. Not much visual pictures. I should of read subtext better. However my son was only marginally upset, lucky for us he is a reader

Just from what my son said. Fun story. He liked it very much. Easy to read and get into.

Although a decent enough story, it was surprising that they're were no illustrations given its comic book origin and that it's young kids who would be reading or meeting read to.

My granddaughter really likes Spiderman and loves to read about him.

I always get confused by sizes. Expected the larger books. Didn’t read the small print. (Hope I reviewed tbe right book).
