There are urban novels, and then there is urban erotica, and this is more erotica than standard fiction. This is not a judgement of the genres, one is not better than the other; erotica can be very literary, but the potential buyers of this book should know what they are getting. The language is very explicit, and the details are very pornographically precise, which isn't a bad thing necessarily, but if one is purchasing this text for a high school reader, I would not recommend it. If this book was made into a film it would be rated X. This is not a criticism of the text nor a condemnation of the text, but just a statement so people know what they are getting.

I thought this book would be good but it was decent , it wasn’t much communication between the two main characters. Larissa barely even spoke and I felt like everything was rushed. Money was annoying and cocky as hell. Larissa didn’t have a mind of her own and listened to everything Money told her to do. It was way my too much sex in the book, it was more sex than a storyline. Overall the book was ok , quick read , definitely not interested in reading the second part. NEXT

Hood Love and Loyalty is the real deal in urban fiction. El Griffin holds nothing back when weaving this sultry and suspenseful tale of young love. Money is a typical alpha male who demands loyalty and respect from everyone in and around his circle. He's impulsive and demanding, but he also knows that being too careless in the game can get you killed. When he meets Lala, he is at the top of the food chain and expects her to just fall in line, but for her, it proves to be more than just a risky proposition. She is strong-willed and a survivor but he is able to manipulate and charm her. Lala demands commitment and loyalty from him, but for Money, the arrangement is more than problematic. There is no lack of drama on these steamy pages and I can't wait to see how it all turns out.

This Book is Trash. Idk why it has so Many 5 star reviews...Dont get me Wrong..I love Urban Erotica..But I dont really like Urban Erotica when it comes to Hood stories..I was excited to give this a Try and its horrible. Obviously it wasnt taken alot of time to Review it and Edit because each Page was Missing a million commas and Some grammatical errors. If you want to be an Author Please know the Basics of Grammar and Punctuation..And also, Its tons of Horribly written Disgusting Sex....The Storyline is Not interesting at All. I got to Page 75 and Had to Stop there. Hood Urban Erotica is NOT for Me...

So I really liked this book and I loved it so much I ordered 2 & 3 and I can’t wait to get them . I also decided to order another book by El Griffin. It is very sexually detailed with cursing I wouldn’t recommend this book for anyone under 18 but it’s a great read for adults

This book has me on the edge of my bed, ignoring the kids, neglecting the household duties because it is so good. This is a must read! I am currently waiting for my part 2 and 3 to arrive in the mail. If I would have known ahead of time that this book was going to be so good I would of ordered all three parts at the same time. Do yourself a favor and just go ahead and get the whole series(3 parts). You can thank me later for the advice.

This kept me wanting to keep turning the pages. It has real meaning and Detailed to where you feel like you are in the story. Loved it! Cant wait to jump on Book 2!

The couples were young so I experienced a different read of characters. All though I can say I really like this book!

I loved this book, this book was so interesting. Each page is filled with interesting details that will not want you to stop reading ! This book is with every penny! You will not regret it especially if you love a good urban novel. Just ordered chapter 2&3

This book is so well written! I am so grateful I have come across El Griffins books. I am planning to finish the entire series! It’s a must read
