Comes as expected
Took a while to arrive but that's to be expected with textbooks such as this. Looks great and did not come damaged in any way.

Textbook worth keeping
I bought this textbook because it was assigned for a college course I took, but I ended up keeping it because it's so well-written and informative. It is very interactive and, like my colleagues and professor, I can see why it is gaining popularity in forensic anthropology and osteology studies. It is a bit expensive (like most hardcover textbooks), but it is very easy to read and offers a TON of visuals to make memorizing bone names and parts easier. I'm glad I forked out the money to buy the physical copy.

I regret that I have but five stars to give
As a physical/biological Anthropology grad student, this book is tantamount to a bible for me. The pictures are gorgeous, and the text leaves nothing to be desired. As a bonus, can be used to incapacitate any intruders that interupt frantic, late night studying. A great book that goes well with Tim D. White's "Human Bone Manual", which offers a portable and more "bare bones" version to save any injury to your vertebrae while carrying it to class. A great book and must have for physical anthropologists.

Easy to use
The pictures are very clear and easy to see the locations directed to. Full of useful information if you are studying osteology

I enjoy the book
I enjoy the book. It has extremely helpful information in it as well as detailed photographs and plenty of margin room for adding your own notes. However, quickly after I began using it (about day 3), pages started to fall out of the binding and I had to superglue the top and bottom binding to keep it from continuing to happen. We will see how that holds up. I did not want to return my book and ask for a new one because I had already highlighted and wrote in the book.

Better than expected
I was not expecting a used book like this to be in such a good condition and I've seen the same book in worse when bought on amazon. Good money spent and came on time.

In-depth & a great reference
Even though I am no longer in the course I initially purchased this textbook for, I always keep it handy. White provides great descriptions as well as reference photos to help familiarize you with the human skeleton at all levels. Highly recommended for any osteology, forensic anthropology, human anatomy or medical student.

Down to a Skeleton 💀
I’ve always known we have 206 bones, but when yo break the body down to parts & study just the bones in each part it seems we must have so many many more! Nothing is missed in this manual & while the pictures are black & white the elements of the bones are definitely captured.
