After trying a different set of metal snaps that didn’t work, I was skeptical to try this set of plastic ones from KAM. But I was pleasantly surprised to find that they are both easy to install and they stay put. I love that this set comes with so many different colors and that you don’t have to buy any additional tools to install them. I’ve used these snaps on a few different projects and haven’t had any issues. This is a great find!

This is a great set of snaps for crafting and sewing. They have worked perfectly on both paper and fabric materials. The kit provides an array of colors to match your projects. So easy to use. Definitely would recommend this set.

This is a fantastic kit. I had some of the plastic snaps in the past, but I never had the right tool. I sew many things that need snaps and I usually use the little metal snaps but I now have an additional option with these plastic ones. They are easy to attach, they work very well and they look so good. It does take a bit of strength to squeeze the tool and the pieces all need to be lined up in the tool to work properly.

First time using this type of tool. It works fine as long as the material isn't too thick. When testing the snaps on quality cotton that was more than 2 layers thick, one side of the snap always pulled away from the cap. The snaps do work and maintain a strong grip through two layers of fabric. As many other reviewers commented, the fastener to the snaps container arrived broken off.

Um. As a mother to a 3 year old who is TINY. This has become a game changer. I have been looking and looking for things to help make her pants for her better. The problem I had was everything for her length wise but around her waist was HUGE. like falling off of her. And as she gets older a lot of pants don’t have the adjustable waist. This is the best purchase I’ve ever bought off Amazon hands down. I saw it on TikTok and bought it the next day. It came super fast and had tons of Color options. It’s soooo easy to use. You pick the color and clamp it down and BAM! You have a little clasp button ! And I was instantly able to make her pants fit her. No more falling down. They can even be removed too ! I was also able to use it for my 9 year old sons Halloween costume. Look you can use this on ANYTHING there is nothing you really can’t use this on. It’s so easy to use too. I’ve used it on toys too when the Velcro goes out and things don’t stick together anymore. Overall buy this product. It’s worth every penny I would tell the world if people would listen. Best purchase out there I wish I would have found it sooner.

I have never used a snap installation product before but wanted to add snaps to my kids multi-layered jacket sleeves. The instructions were not perfectly detailed but were clear enough for me to figure it out There is a small learning curve to apply the snaps correctly — the socket half of the snap is easier to install; when installing the stud half of the snap, you must make sure that the cap (piece that looks like a thumbtack) and the stud are perfectly centered within the pliers, otherwise the force of the pliers will skew/distort the stud and it might not fit the socket half anymore. As long as it is centered it works well (I don’t think this is a flaw in the tool, I think it would probably be true with any pair of pliers) The kit comes with a wide assortment of colors that I think will match any of the kids’ clothes that I want to add snaps to The kit also has some replacement parts for the pliers, also tweezers which are helpful to pick up the snap parts out of the organizer box, and a small screwdriver and awl

After doing A LOT of research, I decided to spend a little more on this set with AUTHENTIC KAM snaps & KAM snap pliers. Will be making reusable pads & diapers so I wanted quality snaps (& tools for installation). After spending so much on materials, I did NOT need the hassle of lower quality snaps that would not install properly, & would ruin the fabric if I tried to remove them. THESE are REAL KAM snaps (embossed with "KAM" on the snap pieces). And pliers are also KAM brand. The different sized black plastic snap "seats" are marked on the edges (tiny but it's there), so you know which size snap they are for. Nice assortment of snap colors in the organizer box. Only complaint is that one of the 2 snap down "latches" that holds box for the tools closed was broken off when I received the package, despite being wrapped in bubble wrap. The tools box still closes, but one corner is a bit broken & the flip down latching piece (near that corner) had broken off... The snap organizer container was fine, no damage. Guess i can transfer the tools to a different, similar, container. (I probably have one like it laying around my house.) But as far as the snaps & tools go, I can tell they are all good quality & worth the investment. Came with an easy-to-understand instruction sheet (inside the box with the snaps), which has illustrations and text explaining each step of installing snaps successfully. I'm glad I spent the extra money! I read a bunch of reviews (on "less expensive" snap kits) & saw SO MANY reviews that said the lower priced sets had cheaper snaps that were not well made, & didn't attach(close) properly, & were hard to remove without damaging the fabrics, etc. Also, a lot of reviews of other cheaper plastic snap kits said the snaps didn't have the correct number of caps & male/female pieces to actually MAKE the # of complete snap sets advertised to be included. So... this all led to my decision to purchase this particular set of snaps & tools. Wish it had been packaged so the plastic on toolbox hadn't cracked/broken...but ultimately that won't affect my projects. Still giving this 5 stars for quality snaps & tools, which are the reasons I bought it.
