TIPPMANN TiPX Remote Adapter Kit

this is a great upgrade to have if you have a remote line. i have one for my tippman a-5, and i use my remote for that mainly. i picked up the tpx as a sidearm and the co2 canisters work, but are not always reliable. with this upgrade you have steady air, and know that it will shoot quicker. the downfall is you have to drill into the plastic on your tpx which i did not know. if done carefully you can do it at home.

Worked perfectly on the TiPX no complaints

It's okay, but i was a little bit dissapointed, you cannot use it to recharge the internal co2 catridge and disconnect after, you will fire about 6 shoot and not straight. Me what i'm about to do is use two remote line attached to the same bottle one for the pistol, the other for the rifle.Enjoy

This product is great, you do have to drill the plastic on the back of the gun, but it's easy and straightforward. The only hitch is if you have an older gun, the gold air adapter that you see pictured may not be able to be added as the air adapter on the older TiPXs is built into the the striker bolt and is not removable. In that situation, you just leave the "gold" air adapter off, and screw the rod into the stock bolt and it'll work fine.

When I purchased this item, I did so with the expectation that I would be getting everything that I would need to install upon arrival. For my TipX, installation was simple, however, for my TPX, they did not include all the parts that were said to be included. So, I had to call Tippmann who told me that they no longer sold that part with it despite being featured in the instructions.They told me they sent the part I need, but we will see. I just dont like not receiving what I order and pay for. Other than that, installation was simple on the TipX, but though it works fine if I have air supply through the new adapter, I cannot use CO2 cartridges like I am supposed to be able to. I dont know if it is installation error, or manufacturer error.Other than that, I like the freedom it provides.

I was easy to install (just make sure you have the new style O-rings - not the black ones) and works perfectly.Update:05/03/2017Still worth it!!After using the TPiX with it.... it would be worth it at twice the price.... but at that point, combined with the cost of the gun,,,, I'd be hard pressed to buy the gun again. I just don't get to use it much. (wish I had more mags and a better way to hold them)

Very easy to install. Watch videos on YouTube and just make sure you pay close attention when taking apart since it will be under pressure. I left the barrel in and that helped. I greased mine before installing it. Worked flawlessly. Took me about 5 minutes to take apart put back together and get it shooting! Hope this helps!
