Mehron Makeup Paradise AQ - RED, Water-Activated Face & Body Paint

Paint worked wonderfully. I’m an amateur & never even wear foundation lol, this stuff was easy enough to work with & looked awesome in pictures & in person, I got compliments all night... got this for Halloween (to be an Alien Hippie), one compact was enough to cover a good majority of my body and have plenty left. I’m sure I could do the look at least once more, maybe even another 2 times with what remains.... I used cheap makeup sponges on my face but it would’ve taken way too long to do my body... 2 of my daughters used paint brushes to help do my arms & back. Application with cheap paint brushes was a little streaky, but once dry it looked great. I have a full sleeve on my right arm, and while I didn’t intend to “cover” my tattoos, the paint did just that. Any splotchiness on that arm was really just a little of my tattoos coming out. I rushed through 2 coats of body paint, I’m sure if we would’ve taken the time to do a light 3rd layer the tattoos would be covered perfectly. I also used the mehron barrier spray in between coats and after the final coat. Let dry completely between applications!! I also did an extra coat (3rd spray total) at the end. That stuff is AMAZING!!! Even the paint on my hands held up through 5 hours of party & looked great. I held cold drinks with condensation, an icy water bottle, picked up babies (rubbing all over my tummy/arms/chest), hugged people... I even cut a lemon at one point with no transfer!! By the end of the night my finger tips were lighter than the rest of my hands but that’s it (you can see in my selfie, that was at the end of the night right before the shower). Very minimal transfer to the inside of my clothing & it came out in one wash. When I showered & just stood under the hot water for a couple minutes, the paint got lighter but didn’t disappear. I was impressed lol ... took a soft loofa sponge & dr bronners soap, paint came right off. No staining of my skin, no break outs, no dryness. LOVE the mehron product line & would definitely order again & again!!! (I originally ordered amazon green but when it arrived it was definitely a darker witch-y green, so I returned & bought the Light Green, seen here in photos. Glad I made the switch.)

This paint is amazing. It goes on extremely easily and makes it simple to get smooth, even coverage without having to fight with the product. It works especially well for covering larger areas quickly. The color applies evenly, builds nicely, and holds up well even with sweat or a little water. I was also impressed that it applied well over areas with some hair, such as unshaved arms, without looking patchy. If you need face or body paint that gives solid coverage, applies smoothly, and stays put better than cheaper options, this is absolutely the way to go. Overall, I am very happy with it and would buy it again.

Worked so well! Lasted all night long. Easy removal, didn’t even come off in my elbow creases! Great coverage. I was asked all night, “how are you so green? It almost looks natural.” Amazing product, 10/10 recommend. Also, gives you so much product in such a little container!!

Despite the humidity and the inevitable sweat, not once did I find myself with smudged or faded makeup. The color stayed as vibrant and well-defined at the end of the night as it was at the beginning. Application was a dream. Many products that promise long-lasting coverage often sacrifice ease of application, requiring professional skills to get it just right. The makeup glided smoothly over the skin, providing excellent coverage in a single swipe. There was no need for reapplication or touch-ups, which is often a tedious necessity with lesser brands. One of the most significant marks of a high-quality makeup product is the finish. Cheap products often betray their inferiority by caking or clumping. This formula offers a smooth finish that looks as good up close as it does from a distance. Whether you're across the roller derby rink or taking a selfie, the makeup retains its impeccable appearance. Another feature that cannot go unmentioned is the ease of removal. A makeup that stays on well but requires an industrial solvent to remove can be a deal-breaker. Luckily it excels in this regard as well. Despite its durable formula, the makeup came off effortlessly with cleanser, negating the need for any harsh scrubbing that could irritate the skin. It truly astounded me with its performance. From its superb longevity to its simple application and removal, this product ticks all the boxes for what one would want in a high-endurance makeup. This was the best face color we have used! Last year we used a different brand of white color and it had rubbed off within an hour. This green face paint was thick and opaque but not cakey and stiff! Easy to apply by adding water and painting on. Needed a second coat in some spots like the beard but that is to be expected. This color will last you FOREVER, after using it for this costume, you couldn’t even tell any had been used. There was very minimal rub off when it came in contact with something. Some got on his light shirt but washed right out. No stinging or burning whatsoever near the eyes. (Each individual is different so test before) My husband was very worried about staining since he had to work the following day but every bit of this paint washed off in the shower with ZERO staining! 11/10!!! Perfect for everyone.

This creme body paint is fantastic especially for longer-wear use, like cosplay! We got the Amazon Green shade for an Elphaba costume and it was absolute perfection. It gives SOLID coverage in one or two coats without feeling cakey, and the color was just super vibrant and easy to blend. It also melts off like butter when it's time to take it off, no staining (at least for this shade and some of the others we've tried). We’re big fans of Mehron in general, their quality is always great, so this wasn't particularly surprising for us, but even still. Easy to apply, great pigmentation, and long-lasting. Highly recommend this if you’re looking for reliable, vibrant body paint!

This stuff lasts forever! I had never played with body paints besides the horrible ones you find in the dollar section at Spirit Halloween, so when I stupidly decided to try and do full body paint for Halloween even though I had zero experience, I felt that I needed to start with the "good stuff" to get a head start. I practiced on my face every day for 30 days, did two full body applications, and still haven't made a dent in it. It's both a blessing and a curse because now I have no clue what to do with all this extra green! Being that I had no clue what I was doing and didn't seal it, I did notice that water and sweat made it rub off easily, but not in a way that caused it to bleed and ruin the makeup around it. And even wearing it in the Texas heat and rain, it still held up without primer or any seal! Other stuff: - I have very sensitive skin, and this makeup doesn't affect me in the slightest. - It doesn't stain the skin and comes off fairly easily. - Applies very easily. Only took me about 3 coats for full coverage, but that might be because I'm ghostly pale. I'll definitely be coming back for more shades!

Overall, this is a pretty great product. It goes on very smoothly with the right sponge, and only needs about 2 or 3 quick layers to be opaque. Once it dries, you can rub your face with your fingers, and it will barely budge with little to no rub-off. Magical. The huge downside is that, no matter what I finished it with, ANY amount of liquid will cause it to instantly run or rub off. I did a skull pattern on my face for a cosplay with the Mehron Paradise Black/White, and the black got into my waterline (my fault) and caused the corner of my eye to freak out (I have sensitive eyes). It ended up dripping all day in that corner, and that slight amount of liquid kept removing any amount of black/white paint in the corner. Aside from this though, if it doesn't get wet, it will stay on all day without fail, just make sure you put on a primer to control oil and you're golden. Pros: -Unlike other Mehron products, this is VERY gentle on skin, I didn't break out at all, and I have very sensitive skin -Breathable -Creamy -Smells like Coconut -Very easy to remove with face wash and water, no makeup remover or heavy scrubbing needed -Quite Pigmented, especially the black shade -If no liquid touches it, it stays on all day Cons: -Biggest con is if any liquid touches it, it will start coming off quickly -Unless you use the right sponge, it can be tricky to apply evenly -I read that this will last for 30+ applications. I used this for 6 faces/some neck, though I applied it very opaquely, and I can see the bottom of the container, about 1/4 of the container or less is left All in all, for a first-time user, this worked out better than I thought it would. It has some pretty horrible cons, but the pros definitely outweigh them enough for me to still give this product 4 stars.

nunca habia usado maquillaje asi fue para un disfraz y me sorprendio bastante, dura mucho se activa con agua y tu mismo le vas dando la consistencia. solo ocupe pasar una vez, el unico detalle son las partes del cuerpo en las que rozan con la ropa, yo especialmente utilice un buen fijador y con eso minimice que se despintara. fuera de eso si eres principiante como yo en esto te lo recomiento al 100%
