Review: Great tool - I’ve used greenly punch kits for 18 years in the field and this works as good but I like it better because the pump, open/shut valve and price. Cut threw the CT cabinet with the 3” die like butter.

TEMCo was quick to respond and address any concerns I had; i.e. draw stud construction, case sturdiness, seal leaks... There were no excuses given. Just assurances the issues had been corrected. Satisfied with their responses, I purchased this set. What I received exceeded my expectations. I have used Greenlee knockouts in the past, and this unit is right on par, with quality. The case is designed well and very sturdy. The hydraulic unit, hose and ram are very sturdy. The draw studs and cutters are substantial as well. I have used the 3.5" knockout on 14ga galvanized steel. After 8 holes, the knockout is producing holes as clean as the first one. This is a High Quality tool, at a Great Price!!

**Q: What are the actual dimensions of the dies?**
A: The dies are exactly the same as the standard dies you'd find in a Greenlee; 1/2" to 4"... Not sure of the durability, only used it about 7 times, but it precisely cut like butter every time... What I love most about this particular product is the 5 year warranty that comes with it, so I don't really concern myself with durability within the first 5...

**Q: Are the die threads metric? I would like to be able to use a Greenlee dies on this tool also.**
A: The die threads are standard 3/4-16.  Yes, you can use the Greenlee dies with this set provided they are also 3/4-16 thread.

**Q: My 3/4 die won't thread on the stud hiw do i replace it**

I'm a full time electrician and this is my only punch kit since February 2019. I've gone through numerous dies, draw studs, and a hose (apprentices have been responsible for a lot of those parts but some just wore out.) The machine still does it's job though, more or less the same as the name brand that's 5x the price. If you punch holes with one side on a double thick metal and one side on single thickness you can jam it up pretty good, but the same issue seems to happen with the expensive ones like Greenlee/Milwaukee. Is it a cheap tool? Yes. But, in my experience it's good enough to get the job done.
