Doesnโt work
Cannot get the product to work, the light will not work. Also, the directions are not in English. Not worth the price

Junk, completely useless
This things is nice in theory but it never works. There is no battery diagram so you kind of have to guess which way they go in but it doesnโt matter because no orientation works. The silicone shade piece falls off, mine is lost. It would be faster to just light a $50 bill on fire. At least that that you wonโt rely on this junk.

Miserable Little Junk
I bought these when they first came out: a green and yellow one, so Iโve had mine for years. Iโm terms of actually usage though thatโs not that much because I only used them for camping. Unlike most of the gear Iโve owned, they have aged poorly. When I bought them, they were cute and I thought would be nice for inside the tent, or for dark areas at the campsite. The candle flicker feature was neat. I think the concept is fantastic. The execution is terrible. Iโm just writing this after throwing them both away. Iโm just sick of dealing with them. Iโm not even going to try and warranty them. Iโve got some other Snow Peak stuff and to be honest, its not very good either. My little isobutane/propane lantern from them would catch fire whenever I tried to use it so that got tossed too. Iโve never had any other lantern consistently do that. The controls on these lanterns are finicky, so itโs hard to turn them on and off. The click isnโt positive and changing modes is flaky. They have always drained batteries within a night of minimal use. Iโm sick of batteries anyway. Weโre always in possession of some kind of rechargeable device so I have chargers and power bricks. I donโt want to carry around little ziplock bags with AAA batteries like itโs the 90s. Sometimes they just donโt start so it seems like every trip Ive got to spend the requisite time to futz with them to get them to work again while packing. The domes collect dust that gets engrained in the gooey rubber and they get gross. Washing them doesnโt help. Itโs like when rubber coatings get that sticky film that you canโt seem to get off. Theyโre nasty. Speaking of the domes, they are just loose enough so that they fall off all the time. I have to spend time relocating the domes in bags, around camp, in the storage cabinet, in the tent. The actual housing doesnโt click firmly together either so sometimes they just come apart and they are finicky to get back together. Finally the little magnetic loop at the top is too weak and too short so they constantly fall off anything bigger than guy line unless thereโs wind, and then they fall off those too. Theyโre just overpriced miserable little things. They are the kind of complicated little annoyance that you go camping or backpacking to get away from in the first place.
