Grotheory 2 Pack Door Draft Stopper, Door Sweep, Weather Stripping Seal

Fits well, easy to install. Draft stays out, the product is strong and seals out the outside noise a lot. The products says allow 24 hours before opening the door, which the seal was strong after 4 hours so great stability.

Pleasantly surprised by how effective this door sweep is. I applied to my front door inside and outside. Installation is simple and only takes minutes: just measure, trim, use the included prep wipe, peel the adhesive backing, and apply. I live in South FL, so all kinds of little bugs and lizards like to come across the threshold and this door sweep is making a big difference! An added bonus is the noice reduction which was noticeable immediately after installation.

Instant difference. Easy enough. Works at all times because it’s always in position and you don’t have to rely on anyone to put it in place. Just install it and you are done. The 4-plex we live in is 100+ years old and the main entry’s exterior door has a delightful 1-2 inch gap above the threshold. This gap allows us to feel the weather outside before we even open our eyes in the morning to see the weather out our windows. Our apartment’s front door also has a gap at the bottom. So when our heating bill hit $300 during Utah’s last winter I knew it was because all our heat was escaping through that gap while the main door gap was letting all that icy, frigid winter air into the building. So, we bought two of these 2-packs and applied them to each door, gave one to neighbor across the hall and one to neighbor in the house next door. It made a huge difference immediately. I could actually tell pretty instantly after affixing it to the main exterior door that it was preventing the cold air from entering our building. Adding it to our apt door further helped to keep the cold air out, our heat in, and I imagine the air conditioned air in later in the summer. I wish I had done this in the beginning of the cold season. It was easy to install. I cleaned the bottom of the door and dried it. Cut the piece with scissors to fit across bottom of the door and then figured out how high or low to position it so it wouldn’t get caught up on the floor or anything when in use and then peeled off the backing and attached it. I had to remove it partially and reposition and didn’t have any issues. I also installed one at the next door neighbor’s house and it made a big difference for her too. Before this, another tenant and I would always try to place one of those heavy, long, round, pillow-type deals behind the door when it was closed to wedge against the gap and block some of the cold air from entering. Those work ok-ish IF people work together and actually use them and if you can actually put them in place because when you leave for the day you can’t put it in position. This item works WAY better bc it is always in position and you don’t have to rely on anyone to keep messing with it. One and done. They should make one that goes from top to bottom so those long gaps or drafts that weather stripping can’t resolve could be helped. Might be unsightly but for some that wouldn’t matter. I guess you could use one of these to do it if you wanted.

I’m using these on the bottom of screen doors of an outside lanai. They attach easily by sticking to the door and have stayed on with the doors being opened several times daily. They’ve been on more than a month. Plus, they keep bugs out! It’s a win for me!

Works fine but noticed it already started to peel off after a few weeks. Maybe we installed it poorly but it is peeling on the side. We had a huge gap under our door and it has definitely helped with keeping temps in and the flies out!

We had a gap under our front door and since we are renters we wanted a quick easy solution. These were perfect and its a two pack! Been on for a few months now with no issues and it really did the job. No more draft or little critters coming in from outside. They are made of rubber and easy to wipe down.

If you’re renting, do not buy this or at least be aware. I normally don’t post any reviews, especially bad ones but I just had to, go let others know. Especially if you are renting! due to all of the great feedback on this particular product,( white GroTheory 2 Pack Door Draft Stopper) I thought it would be a good idea to go ahead and placed an order to keep the cold cold draft entering my bedroom. The reviews like majority of them said it was great product and how not one person said it did what I am experiencing.. so I’m not sure if I got a bad product or if they changed the product. I didn’t see not one bad review so I took the chance and I bought this. I recently just moved into my new rental home and this home was literally just built in my area in October! The doors that they added throughout the house, there’s major gaps on the bottom which leads to cold drafts entering the rooms. I followed the directions and I applied this door stopper onto my bedroom door. I had cleaned the area with the wipe that was included in mind you the smell of that wipe was very strong adhesive Scent. The glue that is on it already was super sticky so I thought “ oh wow this will hold up well “ so I applied like the instructions said to and leave the door the way you had it when u add the door stopper on so u don’t mess up the installation part of it “ so I did just that gave it till next day to shut the door. Next day came i woke up looked at my door and I noticed “ shadows” and i immediately went to my husband and said come look at this , did this product just eat our paint?! And yup hubby agreed… we decided to “ shut “ the door and and it legit ripped on the corner of the door off just by it gliding on the floor and bending.. so this really didn’t do anything for me. It just made more of a headache bc Now I have to try to fix this as I do rent and also to make it look pleasing again I have to fix this. The adhesive part is very sticky, yes but please be mindful when you add it to your door that it may eat your paint/ door.. As you can see in the photos of mine. I’m returning the other 3 that I ordered and I am NOT using this product anymore. If you’re looking for a second best option i did go ahead and ordered the “ MAXTID Large Door Draft Stopper for Bottom of Doors 36” Under Door Draft Noise Blocker Black Gap Stoppers Door Draft Guard for Bottom of Doors Adjustable Door Sweep Draft Seal Home Essentials Gadgets“ and yall this is way better option! It covers the whole bottom of your door, every little crack and all, and keeps sounds out!! And guess what?! Better yet no damage whatsoever ever!!! Wish I seen this product before this white one… so take your chances folks! But I’m happy with the second product

Je suis très satisfaite de mon achat. La bordure de caoutchouc est très facile à poser. Dans mon cas, je l'ai posée sur une porte de métal et la bande autocollante adhérait parfaitement. Je ne l'ai pas acheté dans le but de réduire les courants d'air mais bien pour ses propriétés insonorisantes mais cela fait les deux en même temps. C'est super!
