Lucifer: The Complete Fourth Season (DVD) Entering its fourth season, the story of the original fallen angel continues, with the charming, charismatic and devilishly handsome Lord of Hell, Lucifer Morningstar (series star TOM ELLIS), helping LAPD detective Chloe Decker (series star LAUREN GERMAN) take down criminals. Reeling from the aftermath of Chloe seeing his devil face in the season three finale, Lucifer faces a new challenge: Eve (new series star INBAR LAVI), the original sinner herself, is back. Does she want revenge for when he tempted her out of Eden oh so many years ago? Or something else entirely? Review: Interesting and entertaining. - Continuing the interesting and entertaining stories. Delivered in good condition. Review: Devilishly enjoyable - A great series. I can’t wait to see seasons 5 & 6

The Series Revived
“Lucifer: The Complete Fourth Season” collects all 10 episodes of “Lucifer” as they aired on Netflix. Joining returning characters Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis), Detective Chloe Decker (Lauren German), Amenadiel (D.B. Woodside), Mazikeen (Lesley-Ann Brandt), Detective Daniel Espinoza (Kevin Alejandro), Trixie Espinoza (Scarlett Estevez), Dr. Linda Martin (Rachel Harris), and Ella Lopez (Aimee Garcia) is Inbar Lavi joins the cast in season 4 as Eve, initially a possible love interest for Lucifer before developing a relationship with Mazikeen that lasts through the end of the series. Also joining the cast in this season is Father Kinley (Graham McTavish), a priest that Chloe turned to after accepting the truth of Lucifer’s devilish origins. The priest wants to banish Lucifer back to Hell, leading to a tense season with Lucifer feeling torn between Chloe and Eve while Father Kinley works his own angle on a religious quest. A solid first season from Netflix, but not necessarily the strongest season of the series as a lot of time passes between episodes and it feels somewhat rushed at times. Unfortunately, the DVD set is somewhat basic and doesn’t come with much besides a couple deleted scenes.

Amazing show!
I bought this because a complete series set I bought from another place had 2 broken discs from this season and it would cost more to send it back for a refund than to just buy a new single season set. As for the show. WOW! Amazingly engaging. Tom Ellis and Lauren German are fire! Bloody fantastic show.

Shorter than previous seasons, still with the big fun factor.
This is the only tv/streaming show that I keep up with. I love the over-the-top-ness of "Lucifer". I just don't think any other show can compete with the perfect blend of humour, camp, melodrama, and insanity that is "Lucifer". If you already loved "Lucifer" before season, you'll still love it. If you hated "Lucifer" before season 4...wtf is wrong with you? The only thing that I didn't like about the shortened season was that it seemed like there wasn't as much room for as much of the goofiness we got in seasons 1 through 3. Sure, the first 3 seasons had lots of "filler", but it wasn't boring filler. Anyway, get all 4 seasons of "Lucifer", binge watch them all, and revel in the perfection that is....well...."Lucifer", aka "The Best Show Ever Made".

Great actors, characters and insight. Fabulous photography and music.
This continuing story is worthy of Patrick McGoohan's Prisoner in provoking thought about the subject of evil and its punishment instead of the normal charge that the "devil made me do it." McGoohan made the Prisoner series to explain how we often allow ourselves to be enslaved to some degree or other, by others in our desire to not be alone. Lucifer, unlike the general vision, punishes instead of promotes evil, and struggles to control and direct his own impulses. I read that Seasons 5 and 6 are in the works and am really looking forward to seeing them and more.
