The seller service
I received a defected Samsung sp-f10m, 3 lcd projector and paid $28.00 for shipping back to the seller. After several time call and email to the seller, I did not receive any respond until I enter a feedback on Amazon first time then the seller began to send email for credit back on my account. Finaly, I only lost the shipping cost and buy another project Casio on Buy.com. Up to you to judge this seller but not for me to buy next time. Good luck to you.

First Hour out of box Experience
The projector is quiet, bright and clear just using the factory settings. The 30,000 hour bulb life estimate is what sold us on this more expensive unit. The fact that it was quieter than its LCD or DLP counterparts is a bonus. We already purchased and installed a Da-Lite 8 foot wide screen in a 14-foot long room that we could generally darken. This setup gives us a far bigger viewing surface than any Big Screen TV we would ever buy and when finished, the screen rolls up against the ceiling and is out of the way. We took the projector out of the box and set in on a short table 10 feet away from the screen. Then set a VCR/DVD player next to it and attached the Yellow composite cable to the projector. Then pressed the 'Power' and 'Source' buttons to find the VCR and it was working. We watched the movie, as the resolution on the 8-foot screen was just fine considering that composite video is the poorest TV type setting. Next we tried the included short computer cable and noted a slight improvement in sharpness. It took 2 hours to figure out and mount the ceiling mount. About 10 minutes to find the correct 'Front Ceiling' setting to flip the picture correctly and the 'Film' setting to set the picture brightness. It now is connected by a homemade 12-foot composite cable over the ceiling, which is still satisfactory. I'll be buying a 15-foot HDMI cable and making the final installation in a few days.

Great for Office, Better for Home
We own one of these at the office and it has been the best thing we've done. We don't really need 1080p for office work but for movies and sports events it is fantastic. We have a few other projectors but the amount of light that this projector displays can't be compared. 1,000 lumens does make a difference in a bright environment. Basically, it allows you to take notes or have light in the environment while still getting a great display. The F10M's connections are flexible. There's an HDMI, for starters, which can be used for video (including HD, of course) or PC playback. This sits alongside a D-Sub PC loopthrough, an RS-232 control port, a composite video input, an S-Video input, a USB port, and a LAN socket for limited network functionality. There's even a stereo audio input, a small (7W) built-in sound system. This audio is actually more powerful than most. However, the sound certainly won't be sufficient to serve any home cinema purposes. While the SP-F10M is not as light as some of the competition (just under 10 lbs.), it is still extremely portable due to its compact size. It does not come with a travel bag to facilitate transport, but it could easily fit into a briefcase or travel bag.The SP-F10M should provide years of maintenance-free use at an attractive price.
