Completely useless
I bought this for my off grid cabin. By the time I tried to use it, it was already too late to return it. It NEVER worked as a propane fridge. We could never get it to light, even with a lighter! I purchased it specifically to use with propane, as we do not have power at the cabin, so it is completely useless to us. We brought it to a small appliance repair and they could not fix it to work either. Ridiculous. As a fridge, the design is also ridiculous. You cannot have food in the door and also in the fridge part, as the door storage impedes on the space of the storage room in the fridge, so barely anything fits in this fridge anyway. Do not purchase this!

Junk
We bought it during the pandemic for a Van. We got it and it never worked so the vendor eventually sent us another that had a dent in it but still never worked. We’ve used it as an icebox loading it with ice to keep drinks cold. We just sent it to a repairman who said we got taken because it’s a piece of junk. He felt so bad that he didn’t even charge us but said to just throw it out. Don’t buy this one!!

Not a fan
I personally found it very hard to light on propane , mine has the turn knob to ignite ,It works great on dcAfter getting it I read the complaints , alot of the comments back to the buyers from manufacture was to make sure its level , It says its for a camper truck or rv , any body that has a camper or truck or a rv knows you cant always make it level ..lolSpend the extra money buy a norcool I should have .. or just a ac fridge with a inverter my mistake .Not the type to return something , so I use it on dc added battery power to my set up

venting system is appalling
This is a brilliant appliance, except for the fact that the exhaust system is only half-way engineered. Even if you add the venting part (not provided), a strange smell comes for the back of the unit -- making it unusable. No wonder Amazon doesn't allow returns of it (aside from the residual gas). My $400 mistake, but I've shared this info with others, and (of course) none of us will bother doing business with this company again. Only time in many years, I have felt "taken" through Amazon purchases.

Underpowered
Testing: Set level outside on deck & used 110v with only a wire probe thermometer within.Took ~3 hrs to get to 40f with ~70f outside.Opened door: temperature zoomed up promptly-Okay, so there as nothing else inside the fridge to keep the cool...Repeated with propane- Easily lit. Cooler Plate within got condensation after 3 hrs, 40f. same as 110vNowhere is "BTU" mentioned suggesting there's an inadequate heat capacity for the task.Next fridge will be an ammonia type- This is not, and only to me qualifies as a 'cooler'not a fridge.

Has not worked
WE bought this in Nov 2021 for our off grid cabin, and to this day we still have not been able to get his to work. We have contacted the company and they have given us suggestions but we still have been unable to get this fridge to light.. We are very accustom to everything off grid but still cannot get this product to work. I would not recommend this fridge as I feel I have wasted a great deal of money on something that doesn't work. We only go to our cabin every couple of months so now it so too late to send back GRRRRR
