Excellent Mineral Sunscreen That Gives Natural-Looking Coverage
I've tried quite a few mineral sunscreens, and this is one of the few that doesn't leave my skin looking chalky. The tint adjusts surprisingly well after blending and gives light, natural-looking coverage that evens out my complexion without feeling like heavy foundation. It has a smooth texture, wears comfortably throughout the day, and I appreciate the SPF 50 with zinc oxide since I prefer mineral sunscreen for everyday wear. The price is definitely on the higher side, but a little goes a long way. If you're looking for something that combines sun protection with light makeup coverage, this is worth considering.

excellent for my sensitive skin
I bought this because my dermatologist said to buy tinted sunscreen. I didn’t want to wear sunscreen; I’m allergic or sensitive to most kinds out there, can only use the mineral stuff without getting a reaction. And then I’m a ghost or I sweat it off anyway. I prefer hats. Still, she thought it would help even with my other precautions, so I bought this and a couple other types that were available on Amazon, just to try them out. This one is my favorite. A little goes a long way, when applied with my fluffy foundation brush, and I love that I don’t have to match my skin tone, can just use this anyway. I have an olive-brown skin tone that is hard to match with most makeup, am using tan-amber in Bare Minerals tinted moisturizer with sunscreen, for reference. This stuff does give me a pleasant, healthy glow, but no white cast, no ghostly look. It doesn’t irritate my profoundly sensitive skin, doesn’t smell like anything in particular, and goes on very smoothly, without grit or texture. It is my favorite of the three products I tried. Unfortunately, it is the most expensive, too. Still, I use the Bare Minerals version when I want a light makeup finish, and I save this for when I don’t, since it doesn’t actually camouflage anything or cover it. It’s definitely not makeup, and I love that. I already bought another for when the first one runs out… the others I tried are the Bare Minerals, which I’ve used for years and is a keeper, but is only spf 35 and is still foundation, though a sheer one; and Beauty of Joseon, which started out excellent (spf 40) and seemed as good as this at first, but now I think it’s giving me a rash as I became sensitive to something in it. So far no problems with this one, but fingers crossed that it stays that way!

Natural golden glow with beautiful skin-like coverage
This product gives my skin the most beautiful natural glow without looking greasy or overly shiny. It leaves a soft golden finish that makes my complexion look healthy, radiant, and effortlessly polished. On no-makeup days, I simply add blush, mascara, and lip color, and my skin already looks amazing. Lightweight, flattering, and absolutely worth it—one of my favorite beauty products

OBSESSED - My New Go-To SPF ✨
I don’t say this lightly - I’m OBSESSED. The Colorescience Glow SPF is hands down the best sunscreen I’ve ever used. This formula makes my skin look unreal - plumped, radiant, and healthy from morning to night. It gives that lit-from-within glow without ever looking greasy or heavy. I’m super sensitive to sunscreens (most of them irritate my skin and eyes), but this one is perfection. No reactions, no discomfort- just smooth, glowing skin all day. I also ordered the Flex and can’t wait to try it next. This is officially my forever SPF

Perfection! Not for very pale skin, unless it’s contour..
I only deducted a star because it was not perfect for “all skin tones”. I am very pale with cool pink undertone. Where it does give me “healthy color” without being orange (after waiting 15-20 minutes for the color to settle.), which is something I have never had before with a bronzer. I’m impressed. But… as you can see I the photo, you can clearly see where the spf ends and my shoulders begin. I prefer something more subtle so if I decide to take change my top or if my strap moves you don’t see the stark alabaster skin line. That said, if I was going to be fastidious about where my close rest on me, this would be wonderful. Ok now the pros: Goes on like a dream. Unscented, but the smell of the ingredients is subtle (maybe some Shea butter scent? It’s so light I can’t place it) and goes away after about 20 minutes. I have very dry, extremely sensitive skin. I mean… VERY sensitive. This feels like a high end thicker moisturizing cream/balm, but had zero stickiness or oily feeling. When I first saw the deep brown bronze color in the drops j put on my fingertips and then the orangy tint as I first put it on I started to panic. Thankfully it blended in quite well. I have NEVER had a bronzer look natural or not orange on me. So the product base is exquisite. I have bought over 27 face sunscreen products this year trying to find anything my skin would play nice with and my skin actually LOVES this. I further I have it on and I hugged my nesting partner who was wearing a light t-shirt and there was no transfer or oily blotches on his shirt as I have had with most others. I used the original version of this that has a neutral beige tint, the formulas feel identical, though I have not checked the ingredients. What is important here is it layers beautifully! I had the bronze on and because 2 hours had gone by I put the original over it and wow, I love the effect! I still can’t feel it on and it hasn’t pilled or left creases of product on my neck (unlike Elta MD Clear’s 2nd and 3rd 2hour reapplication layers.) Here is what I am squealing with excitement about. Not only does my skin adore this product feel and formulation, but it layers! I am going to try to contour myself with the bronze. Use the Original first, and add contours under my jaw, where blush would go and my temples, blending before the product dries. Because of the way the bronze didn’t shift when I applied the original on top, it is likely that when I apply the other layers of just the original every 2 hours, it should still look beautiful. I WILL be experimenting with how this works and how well it holds up to being outside, then update you here. (Currently I am outside less than an hour, but have enough windows o still get sun burned and sun angry red skin within 2 hours inside my home. So I still want to check for outside direct sunlight efficacy too.) (Before this I was using SuperGoop Unseen Sunscreen, but my face still got red/irritated and EltaMD UV Clear, which had less redness/irritation, but was still causing me mild redness. Everything else was either tacky, oily or had an unacceptably white cast. The closest to 3rd runner up was the “No more foundation” it’s cosmetics moisturizing spf cream. It moisturized with zero skin irritation and had fantastic spf, but I did look like I had a plastic mask which is jot my thing. It appears I have the best of what I adored about “No more foundation” and a clear or unnoticeable tinted spf that looks plausibly natural!)

Bronze and Matte are brown girl friendly
TLDR: I got bronze and matte formulas and I have oily skin. I’m very happy with these. Bronze is a perfect match until it oxidizes so I mix it with medium for the perfect shade. Bronze will be flexible across a wide range of skin tones. Matte formula is perfect on its own, more like a satin matte finish. I think matte has less pigment than bronze. Both are easy to apply and reapply, blends nicely, zero white cast- no Casper. What I liked: I really like the finish on these. I have oily skin and these work well for me. They don’t burn my eyes. Bronze gives a little glow while matte tones down the shine but it’s not too matte, more like satin matte. I can wear matte on its own but I have to mix bronze with medium because it oxidizes after a few minutes. These are both great options for daily wear. What could be better: I wouldn’t change anything about the matte formula. But it can get thick after several reapplications. I wish the bronze formula didn’t oxidize. While it doesn’t oxidize every time, you just never know when it will. But mixing it with medium helps to keep it chill. Skin tone: For reference, I usually have to mix shades to get my perfect match. But my skin tone tans very easily and is lighter in winter, darker in summer. So I mix medium with bronze or tan. Some of my foundation colors if it helps you: Armani 7.8, Hourglass 11, EL DW 4N2, MUFE 3N42, NARS Aruba, Dior 4N, Haus Labs 330. Would I recommend: Yes! This is best for brown girls who want a tinted sunscreen without a white cast. And it’s even for lighter people who want to bronze up their skin. About my photos/video: Photos show me wearing each formula as well as swatches. Hope this helps!

Love
My initial review was great. The first time I applied this sunscreen, it was stunning. My skin was absolutely glowing and I didnt even want to wear makeup. After a few days of using it, I’m not as impressed. I think it can be great for some skin types, but I have dry-combo sensitive skin. Even with hydrating skincare underneath, it felt cakey and started breaking me out and my skin was getting inflamed. Again, I think this would be really nice for someone with less dry/sensitive skin but for me unfortunately I can’t use it.
