Actual Measurements Provided
My biggest frustration in buying an armband for my phone is that they do not offer actual dimensions of the phone that will fit and usually do not offer how big of an arm the band fits in the product description. If you are not an iSheep with a specifically designed armband for your phone then you are left guessing. I'm not much of a smart phone user and actually have one of the cheapest "smart" phones out there, probably because it's an old model. It's a Samsung Dart. Phone Pocket: My phone, without a case, is 2 3/8" wide and a little over 4 1/4" (this measures the whole phone, not just the screen). It's a perfect width for my phone. I don't have to squeeze it in; I doubt it would accommodate much more width at all. It could accommodate at least another 1/2" in length. Armband Part: When I undertook trying to find an armband I discovered that most of these are made for big beefy guys that workout all day. I however am a very slender 120 pound woman with an upper arm measurement of 9 1/2". This armband says it is for 9 to 17 inches. It fits me snuggly but it's pulled to the very end. There's a little Velcro flap you can see in the photo that is for "Securely storing and managing the earphone cord". If you opened this and then let the flap stick out, you could make the armband fit smaller as you could utilize the additional Velcro. But then you are left with the flap sticking out. Depending on which way you wear it (I like it upside down for viewing while wearing and on my left arm), this could get in the way of your activity and cause some seriously annoying friction against your body. After several days of searching for an armband this is the only one I found that went this small. The holes at the top for earphone plugs do not exactly line up with my phone, but it works. Even though it's not perfect the plug doesn't come loose or anything. You can easily use the touch screen through the plastic. Half way through a recent run it started to heavily pour rain with strong winds for at least 8 minutes (yeah it was a great day). The phone was perfectly dry inside, no malfunction or anything of the sort.

Pretty nice!
The Tune Belt worked great for me. It felt solid, looked good, and felt like it was made with quality. I've only used it once so far and I do like it. It's simple and gets the job done. It fit my MyTouch 4G very well. Although I had to put it in upside down so I could use the build in holes in the Tune Belt to plug in my headphones. The hole for the plug wasn't perfectly lined up, but it did work without any major problems. I then flipped the Tune Belt upside down on my arm so there would be no chance of it falling out (since I put it in upside down). The fit was great, I'm positive it wouldn't have fallen out anyway. Being upside down actually worked, because I could just look at my arm, and the phone was right side up. I'm not a really buff dude (13in arms, not buff at all, in fact) and it fit just fine and was very snug. It did not bounce around or move or even really feel very heavy or cumbersome on a treadmill at 6.5 mph. It flexed and moved with me and I forgot it was there a lot of the time. It still did a great job of staying in place after perspiration began. The touch screen was usable through the plastic screen, which was nice. With the right headphones I could even take phone calls without needing to pull it out of the armband. CONS: Very few to mention. The plastic see through part did feel a bit lumpy and made the phone miss a few of my commands but not many. If you sweat a lot (I don't) you might begin to see a bit of condensation form inside the armband where your phone/whatever is. Most likely not a problem, unless you sweat a ton and workout for long periods of time. Overall a great armband and it fits the MyTouch 4G just fine. Hope that helps someone! I would recommend it for sure!

Good enough, but not perfect.
I bought this armband hoping to be able to use it with my iPhone 4 inside the Otterbox I keep on it all the time. (I've shattered two screens so I want my phone protected at all times now!). In order for it to fit, I have to remove the protective rubber bumper, which is a bit of a pain, however I haven't found any other options as of yet. I had read some reviews that said the armband wasn't big enough, however it fits my arm with plenty of strap left. (But I have a 10" bicept so I'm just glad the strap wasn't too big!). My "complaint" with the armband is that it chafes my arm a little bit on long runs. Before this one I used an "Ncase" band that I loved which never once caused chafing. However, this could also be a result of the extra bulk of the Otterbox. The plastic screen over the front works perfectly, allowing full functionality of the phone. My main concern, and the reason for the three star rating, is that I don't believe this band is sweatproof. When I used my old case I never saw any moisture on my phone but with this one I do. If I didn't have the added layer of protection with the Otterbox, I would NOT use this case for long runs or bike rides, or even shorter sessions in hot weather where I know I'll sweat a lot. This case is good enough, since I haven't found anything better, and since Otterbox hasn't come out with an armband for the iPhone 4 case yet, but it's not perfect. UPDATE: I now have my phone in a LifeProof case and use this armband exclusively. I've not had any chaffing since I switched cases and since the case is completely waterproof, I don't worry about the armband not providing any kind of moisture barrier. I'm leaving the 3 star rating, because it's still not perfect, but is good enough. (The LifeProof case is a tad longer than the actual phone, so the case sticks out of the armband a little, but is completely secure.)

Was exactly as described and needed
I will admit I was nervous buying something without laying my hands on it first. The other reviews helped me make the purchase. My hope is this product will hold up over time. Given the lengthy and wide plastic cover in addition to the tight fit required to hold the phone I am afraid this might not last long. As with any plastic, I am sure it will break down in time. However other than the plastic cover this seems well put together. I am 6'4" with medium to small arms and I was already pushing the end of the strap. As others have mentioned, if you are not sure about your arm size buy the extension. It was a little snug but worked great and did not bother my arm at all. The product stayed still and snug to my arm during a 3-4 mile run just fine. I was not expecting at all for my phone to be responsive through the plastic cover but for my droid X it worked awesome. I was able to unlock my phone and use my pattern unlock feature with no trouble. Don't expect to get your phone out quickly if a call comes in. The unit is designed to protect and hold your phone during a run, therefore general use of the phone isn't to be expected at all for me. The phone for my runs are for listening to music only, however because the phone was so responsive through the plastic I am sure I could take an urgent call fairly quickly using the speaker. Very pleased with this product. Even if this lasts only 6 months until the plastic breaks down I'll buy another one in a heartbeat for the price. Thanks!

New smartphone? Like to Workout/Run? This is for you.
What with the current trend of smartphones becoming larger then ever in the last few months it creates a kind of problem when one upgrades. Especially if they have used their previous phones as an addition to their workout, running regiment. I upgraded to the Droid X on release and it posed some already true problems about how I was going to lug this around during workouts/running. It felt like it'd eat my last phone for breakfast, to give you an idea of comparison and weight. Needless to say most armbands and belts weren't cutting it from measurements point of view. So I went off into thousands of Google searches to the plethora of Android OS forums reading descriptions upon descriptions of armbands that; kinda fit, you might have to modify it to really fit. A few shifty eBay links to ones that did not even look manufactured towards quality(shady). Until I found this. So lets get down to business, as Tune Belt isn't much of a secret and neither is this product as it goes out of sale pretty fast. I did a good ole fashion test run with this last night in the lovely humid day of Florida (luckily it had been raining earlier). It was a tight fit, the whole Droid X does fit snug and comfortable inside the case with nothing popping out. The touchscreen feels easy to use, the bottom holes for plugging into the headphones is almost spot on (it is pretty stretchy material in a sense)so I managed to get the phones in. It did not feel a hindrance at all during any part of the run at all. It was a tad bit heavy, but that is just due to the weight of the Droid X itself, but its not a bouncing heavy, which is good. I worked up a pretty decent sweat and was worried it might seep through to the phone. Except I should of been worried about the rain starting up again. Luckily it was at the end of my run, but I still got pretty drenched and the whole armband felt moist. My Droid X was perfectly dry. I might suggest not putting the Tune Belt in a washer/drier at anytime. It didn't destroy anything really, a part of the fabric became unkempt and frizzy. There are not many choices out there currently. That may change given more time as this is meant to fit newer type phones. Though for now, this is a solid choice.

The Truth About Tune Belt and Evo 4G
There have been so many reviews going back and forth about Tune Belt. I own an EVO 4G. My EVO 4G is protected by both a Body Glove slim case and an invisibleSHIELD screen protector. I am using the Tune Belt for my workouts. Here is what I have found. The Tune Belt is the PERFECT CASE for my EVO 4G. The case is big enough for me to slide my EVO 4G (with case) without any issue. Its not a struggle to slide my phone into the case. It slides in snugly but not so tightly I strain to do it. In the case, my touch screen (with screen protector) works without issue. I can activate the screen, unlock my phone, use the control keys at the bottom at the phone, open applications, etc. I have no issues (none) using my EVO 4G while in the Tune Belt. The case is comfortable on my arm. I purchased the additional strap as I have 18" arms. If your arms are that size or bigger, you'll need the strap. If your arms are smaller, the strap that comes with the Tune Belt is sufficient. I sweat (like a pig) when I work out. My phone is dry, the case is comfortable (doesn't slide on the arm); tucks up under my shirt sleeve with no issues; and even looks stylish (like that matters??). I don't know why others have had issues with Tune Belt, but I am very happy with my purchase and highly recommend Tune Belt to others. If you have a EVO 4G with a slim case and screen protector and looking for a belt for workouts, this is the one to buy. That's the truth!

Awesome product...
This band works well for my Droid Bionic. I can use it with the plastic shell on the phone, though a very tight fit. Or without, stays in fine. I use it in the gym working out, I get really sweaty and have never noticed it getting to the phone. I will say if attached too tight, the plastic buckle will rotate during use. That makes it loose and you may need to re-adjust. This also happens with the "extender" piece that you can buy separately. Not a huge deal, just don't pull it too tight, or if you do like it that way, just turn the buckle before and tighten. It'll crimp the strap a little, but if you like it tight, you'll need to do this. The clear plastic in front does reflect light some when trying to view your screen, but just turn it a little and you can see it fine. I don't know any way around this as you have to have the clear plastic to hold the phone in and be able to see it. : - ) Overall, I love this product and use it every time I work out! And with my bluetooth headset, I have no wires flailing around! Awesome!

great product! perfect for droid x.
I was very reluctant to buy this because I thought the gray would be ugly (yes, I am that shallow) but there aren't that many running cases that will hold a Droid X, so after almost buying a cheaper one, I wavered, re-read these reviews, and decided to live with the gray and got this one instead. And HALLELUJAH! It's not gray at all, but a nice, solid black. It worked out great! It fits my Droid X very snugly and stays in place on my arm when I run. I have rather slender arms but the velcro is super adjustable so I have not had a problem, and the neoprene is really comfortable. There is a little velcro tab on the side (where it has the turquoise "Tune Belt" logo) that is useful for corralling extra headphone cord. I can slip an extra house key in behind my phone and it holds it there nicely. No other accessories needed! I am so happy with this product. One note - it can be hard to see the screen when you are in bright sunlight because of the glare from the protective plastic front. But the touch screen is still fully functional behind the plastic, so that's probably more important.

HTC Desire HD
I got this for my HTC Desire HD. I'm very happy with it; the band has several holes at each end, so is easy to plug headphones in whichever way up your phone is. The band is secure and solid; it doesn't move up and down my arm when running even if I haven't done it up super-tight. The velcro is chunky so there are no worries about my phone slipping out whilst running. The case is snug, but not too tight; my phone slips in and out easily with little effort when I need it to. I can adjust the volume easily through the case which I wasn't expecting, so I'm quite pleased with that too. It's been through a cool wash in the machine and has come out unscathed, though I think they say you should hand wash! It has little velcro tabs at the side to run your headphones through if needed. Would definitely recommend this to anyone with an HTC. Idiot proof and does the job perfectly.
