Bernat Big Ball Chunky Ombre Yarn, 10.5oz, Super Bulky 6 Gauge, 100% Acrylic Intrigue - Machine Wash & Dry

I love the softness and color of this yarn. However, working with it was maddening! First quarter of skein is fine, however, the rest of skein was full of tangled yarn. I had to waste valuable time working and unwinding knotted yarn. My afghan HAD to be this beautiful color, so I HAD to deal with this tangled mess. Due to this, I missed the deadline for finishing this gift. I was finally able to gift the full-size afghan, but, avoided relating the anguish these skeins of yarn caused me.2 Stars for softness and color.For the price, I should've taken the time to search for something better.

Here's the thing. I ordered one of these yarn balls and I used it to make a throw blanket (knitting 3 strands at a time from 3 separate balls- this and two dark grey). The first ball was teal, lavender, a little light pink, and a plum purple. Well, I realized I would need another ball so I ordered it- only a week after the first. The colors are all wrong! It has the original colors, but with the addition of tan, brown, sage green, and a really dark purple. So now, 2/3 of the way through my blanket it starts to have other colors than the bright, pretty ones I had in the first 2/3. This is awful continuity for yarn. The first was beautiful. The second is muddled. Very disappointing. :(

I love this fatty chunky yarn. It makes fabulous blankets, easy to use and goes so fast. I have made several blankets with many different colors the recipients are always so happy with the end product

The yarn was not as bright as pictured, which is what I was hoping. Perfect color for my project.

I originally bought this yarn as a "no-label" remnant at a popular craft store because I fell in love with it. Buying up all they had, it turned out I still didn't have enough to finish my crochet project. Unable to decide a suitable pattern change, I put the piece aside for many months. That is until I came across the yarn on Amazon!!!! Now, many extra skeins purchased, I can finally finish!!! YOU CAN FIND EVERTHING-ONLY ON AMAZON!!!

Pretty cool. It's a little stiff, but still works great.

I love Bernat yarn,I make all my blankets with this . It is incredibly soft and the wide variety of colors are just beautiful. Very happy and I’m sure I will be ordering again very soon 🧶🧶
