I had ordered both the old-fashioned mix, and the margarita mix on Amazon. When they arrived, the margarita mix bottle had cracks in the top so I messaged the company directly, and the cofounder reached out to say how sorry he was and has since sent me a new bottle free of charge. It arrived quickly and very well packaged, I know other people have left low reviews because of cracked bottles, but it is definitely because of Amazon‘s handling. I love the mixers and everyone that I have shared them with as loved them as well, I can’t recommend them enough! Next time I’ll buy directly from the website just to ensure the proper shipping and handling.

I had a great old fashioned at this restaurant - Brio. It got me on this old fashioned kick, but making them from scratch at home is a bit of a bother with mixed results (get it?). I saw these mixes and the first one I tried was this one, but then, I admit - I cheated on the brand. It was really good, matching the Brio one, so it made me wonder if there are others as good or better. I tried several that also scored 4+ stars. But they were either flavorless (even tripling the recipe the drink tasted like straight-up bourbon) or it was not very “old-fashioned.” So, now I know. And now you know.

My new absolute favorite Old Fashioned mix. Made by bartenders and filled with complex spices that create an exceptional drink. Not full of added sugars or high fructose corn syrup, or additives.

I have tried virtually every old-fashioned mix on the market, and this rates up there as one of my favorites. It has more of a spicy orange taste than others I have tried. My only criticism is that, on the bottle, it says it should be used within three weeks. I wish I would have known that before purchasing it, as 32 drinks (the amount of servings in the bottle) in 21 days is way more than I would drink (I live alone). I probably should have known that had I read the description of having no preservatives, but I do think this is something to consider if you do plan on drinking it over an extended period of time.

I enjoy a good old fashioned. Sometimes I don't feel like going thru the whole process. I've been trying some mixes. This has to be one of the better ones. Didn't have an aftertaste, easy to use. Nothing will take the place of me "making" one but this will do.

I rarely use pre-made mixers, other than bloody mary mix. This stuff is great, though!! You really don't need much at all, and it adds the perfect amount of sweetness, orange, and cinnamon flavor. Highly recommend for at home/no-fuss old fashioneds.

Tastes like a fancy red hot, not an old fashioned. But if fancy red hots are your thing then this stuff is pretty good.
