Another well done book
I'm trying to get through this series by Sharon Lathan, and had almost decided to give it up, but for a couple of reasons I'll persevere. My reason for wanting to quit is the excessive amount of time and text given to the frequent copulation done by ODC. I love romance, but this is ridiculous. These two can't keep their hands off each other, and are extremely vocal and melodramatic about it. We all understand that Elizabeth did a lot to soften the always stiff and serious Mr. Darcy, but their behavior towards each other is so over the top that it becomes tedious and nauseating. My solution to this is to skim over any paragraphs relating to an interlude, so I did a lot of skimming and probably finished the book a lot quicker. The intervals of lovemaking are all pretty much the same combination of mushy love talk and descriptions of how they brought each other to spectacular sexual completion, so I don't feel as if I missed much in not reading it word for word. One reason I've decided to slog through the series is simply how good of an author Ms. Lathan is. She is a talented wordsmith and storyteller, who knows how to develop a plot and flesh out the characters. The other reason is her creation of the character of Dr. George Darcy. Ms. Lathan wrote an entire novel about him, "The Passions of Dr. Darcy," and I highly recommend reading that one. It's wonderful. He appears in this book, and I love his character. The scenes in this story where he appears are by far my favorites. There is very little of note that happens in this installment: the return of Dr. Darcy, and the birth of the first Darcy baby. The book could have been much shorter, but was bulked up by the sheer number of sexual encounters described in agonizing detail. I recommend it, but would also suggest skimming a lot.

Very well written...WAY to much sex.
I really like the style of this author as she is very good at keeping the feel of the Regency feel in the story. However, it seems like every other page is Darcy and Elizabeth ravaging the other during intimacy. They also declare their undying love for each other so frequently, it made me want to gag. I wish the author would spend more time on developing story lines involving the other characters and refrain from so much sex...and that is something I never thought I would ever write in a review.

I love this series and highly recommend it.
I must say that I was fortunate to catch this series in it's current format and I have loved each and every book. I like Sharon Lathan's writing style. Her characters are well developed and their lives usually address issues that are part of society even today. I recommend that readers start the series with book one and follow the amazing Darcy family through the beautiful epilogue novella, Darcy Christmas. In each of the books the young couple matures and their marriage gets stronger and stronger. Their love is a deep, devoted emotion that never fails to enable them to overcome all adversities.

And so continues Pride and Prejudice...
The p&p movie is excellent. I tried to read JaneAusten's book, but the older style of writingwas difficult to follow. But I always imaginedthe wedding, what it was like, and their marriagetoo. And so I bought Sharon Lathan's first book.Being not an avid romance reader, I took a chance.I was glad I did! Now on her third in the saga,I just can't seem to get enough! Her books areeasy reads, and through her descriptions, Ican see and experience Pemberly in my mind!Throughout My Dearest Mr. Darcy she weaveshistory with the fictious Darcy and Lizzy. Shebrings them to life, and as a reader, one canrelate to them, and cheer them on. I feel likeJane Austen would be happy to see her characterslives continue in this way!

Your Mr. Darcy fantasies will be fulfilled!
If you ever wondered what the passionate love life of Mr. and Mrs. Fitzwilliam Darcy might have been like, then this book will fill in your imagination with swoon-worthy gallantry, frequent passages of passionate love, and the undying love they professed to each other grows with each day of their marriage. As a reader the love they feel for one another is almost palpable and you have a continued sense their devotion is profound. A very satisfying read. I couldn't put it down until I had absorbed every word! Ms. Lathan's writing continues the saga of the famous Austen couple without any disappointments! When you are done reading you will let out the breath you didn't even realize you had been holding!

I Love the Darcys!!
I love this series!! Sharon Lathan's Darcy Saga is by far my favorite Jane Austen fan fiction! (And believe me I've read many of them). My Dearest Mr. Darcy is the third book in the series (1 - Mr. and Mrs. Fitzwilliam Darcy: Two Shall Become One, 2 - Loving Mr. Darcy: Journeys Beyond Pemberley, 3 - My Dearest Mr. Darcy: An amazing journey into love everlasting, 4 - In the Arms of Mr. Darcy, 5 - The Trouble with Mr. Darcy due out April 1, 2011) and continues as the Darcys vacation at the seaside and prepare for the birth of their first child. I love the Darcys and their love for each other and their family.Life has it's ups and downs for the Darcys but their love continues to triumphs over all!

A great disappointment.
Sharon Latham's books make me dislike Lizzy and Mr Darcy. After reading " Pride and Prejudice " I wanted to know more about the future of them, I now regret the curiosity.

Ah, Dr. George Darcy again
The first part of My Dearest Mr. Darcy is told from the perspective the the inimitable Dr. George Darcy. He is a welcome addition to Austen's cast of characters. Dr. George is Fitzwilliam Darcy's Uncle on his fathers side. The book shifts away from his perspective and is a well told tale of the happiness of the married Darcys. I could do with a lot less of them falling into each others' arms for hot sex, because the rest of the tale is told in language so beautiful it is lyrical. More, please.

A Great Read
A wonderful story kept me entertained from the first page. I found that it go.t better and better.I have loved this series so far as the new characters mix in greatly with June's pride and prejudice characters. I especially love Dr George Darcy.

Loved It
Again, really loved this book in the series - especially chapter 19 was their first child is born - very touching and emotional. Going to read the whole series again in about 12-24 months' time.

Nice love story
I have read this book with pleasure and feeling that I am entirely in the world of Elizabeth and Darcy. But it is not for readers having preferences for Jane Austen's devoid of sexuality heroes.

Better
This book was much better than the last of this saga series. After the trials Elizabeth endured through two books with her pregnancy, I was happy when the time finally came. Darcy as a father is delightful. Uncle George is a favorite character in this series. Personality plus!

True Love

I love you forever" ect. ect.

Je me suis ennuyée.Ma note :4,5/10

Strange
Interesting but the style of writing is strange. There is no way Lizzie would say “just wait until my bum heals” after childbirth. Way too much emphasis on the bedroom antics of the Darcy’s. Became boring after the first 20 times.

An uinsult to the writing of Jane Austin
Can the person who wrote this, ever have read any of Jane Austin's work? I am a huge fan of the writings of Jane Austin, and to me this book should never, in any way be connected to anything Jane Austin wrote,it is repetitive rubbish.
