When you want to turn it off, there is an opening on the side that you push the switch back up to turn it off/reset it. I recommend getting the little tool they sell which makes turning the nocks off and also aligning the nocks easier. The Green & blue sets are the brightest. Occasionally I have shot these & they didn't light up, but its rare.
