Great microwave!
Best microwave I have purchased in awhile! Love the vibrant red, and retro look. Itβs a perfect size, not too big or small and very easy to use. I also really appreciate the child safety unlock/lock button. Highly recommend. Great value for the price as well! Has good power, but doesnβt overheat or burn items.

Alas after twelve years my expensive over the stove microwave no longer emits microwaves.
While the expensive stainless steel, convection oven, and overhead stove vent, microwave, lost its microwave function everything else works. That likely means the Magnetron has failed. It could mean the diode has failed too, but either case has too much labor involved to repair. I looked at having a new one installed, but those big box stores that do it require a specific vent size and refuse to do any modifications, so you can be left with a mess dealing with contractors. The good news is except for the microwaves themselves every other function works. I can even use the convection oven feature if needed. Still, I need the convenience of a microwave. Thinking about it a bit I remembered I have a large countertop oven on my prep table. This particular model fits perfectly on top. I bought a heat-resistant mat to prevent slippage of the microwave feet and installed it out of the box in five minutes. While much smaller and less powerful than my old unit, this fits most of the things I use a microwave for. Heating water, melting butter, small frozen dinners, reheating pizza and sandwiches, it does them all fine. The price of this was fantastic as it cost roughly one tenth of the cost of my old unit, and less than the trip charge a local repair facility would charge me to evaluate a repair estimate. I like the retro look and the simple controls although there is a bit of a learning curve. My old unit had mostly intuitive buttons, so selecting power levels and presets was easy. I never bothered with the manual on my old unit, but I've had to access this one a few times for the special timed cook, reheat, defrost and other settings. It's not overly complex, but you do need some information. I laminated a card with the basic settings I'll use and attached it with a magnet to my fridge. That should help. despite less power most things I've used it with cook nearly as fast and as complete as the old unit. Recommended.

Great Retro Look
This is the perfect sized undercounter microwave for our RV. The child lock feature is a plus, and we really like the retro look of this product. It's ideal for small meals, which works for the small area in our bus. it is not too noisy, and there are several power levels to choose from when warming up certain foods. It isn't too complicated to use, and it comes with a manual that helps you to set the time and power settings. We also enjoy the red color! I would recommend this unit, especially if you have limited counter space! The price was also a determining factor.

Funky, stylish, and good for a few reasons
I recently went traveling to a place where I'd be for several weeks, but it had no microwave. So I went ahead and ordered this Galanz model. Advantages: Not super-high power draw (900w rated), so not much chance of tripping breakers. Just big enough for a dinner plate. The child controls can be disabled, although the instructions they provided for doing it weren't accurate. It certainly cooked well enough for my purposes, and while it was loud when it first turns on, this quiets almost immediately to a low level. For me, it was a fantastic choice to serve as a "travel microwave", and I got it super cheap here. I also quite like how with a single knob control, you quickly start an automatic 30 sec cycle, but if you turn the knob during this, the overall time increments as high as you like. This got me thinking that it might be a good microwave oven for those without much space and who perhaps are a little technology-challenged. "Put food in. Close door. Push button. Turn to the time you want. Wait until the beep." Very simple. One complaint: The black text on the red background is almost unreadable. Therefore I have to suggest getting a lighter color, unless they change the design.

Perfect for our needs!
Our large above-the-stove microwave died after 7 years. We have a rather tiny kitchen. We got this cute, tiny, retro/vintage microwave for our counter...we are in love with it! It's just the right size for us empty-nesters. It has all the best features for effectiveness and safety. The price was fair. The power levels are great. It's not too noisy and it's extremely easy to clean. Highly recommend!

Great purchase
I bought a different brand from a big box store, carted it home and it never worked. I ordered this one and I am more than pleased with it. It really is a great looking retro design and it works fantastic.

The little red microwave that could :)
I love, love this little red microwave! It's the perfect size for my small kitchen and its 800 watt output is more than adequate for the way I use it - mostly to re-warm coffee and leftovers and cook steam-in-bag frozen veggies. All my kitchen appliances are red so it fits right in and the retro/modern style is super cool. It has a child proof locking mechanism which is important feature for folks with kids. It has an interior light which comes on when the door is opened, and it's quiet and easy to use.

Tiny and Slow, but Cute With Perky Color
This review is for the Mint Green 0.7cu ft 700W model. I like the Microwave - er, that is, my wife tells me I like it, because it's small. βΊοΈ But it is not very powerful. Seems like it heats cold liquid from the fridge about as slow as leaving it out in the Sun.π€ I just heated about 1 cup of refrigerated liquid for over 1.5 minutes on high and it was still barely lukewarm. And the height of the door opening is smaller than the pictures say. 7.9" is what is shown, but that is max height inside at the center, where the top is domed upward a bit. The actual height of the door OPENING is only 6.5 inches. The rotating glass tray and it's lip take up about a half an inch inside at the bottom. So my brand new 6" tall ceramic mug won't fit inside through the front opening without tipping the rotating glass platter at the bottom sideways, so the mug can slide over the glass lip. Then you have to bounce the tray around to get it reseated. I'm not too happy about that. Operation-wise, it seems fine. There's no paper manual, so check the Ad details on Amazon. There's a link to download an electronic copy of the manual. I'm not wild about the new child-proof lock feature that requires pushing a button before I can pull the door open after the oven has shut off. Apparently a pencil-pusher somewhere thought people would accidentally fry their colon pulling the door open. I've used microwaves for over 40 years and never fried anything outside the oven. Whatever. The clock defaults to 24hr time, which is great if you ever need to know that it's not morning any more. It is very bright white digits too, so you can probably retrieve your burned bits by the light of the clock if the child lock ever fails and you burn things outside your oven. π Anyway, if you have anything 6" tall that needs to fit in through the opening, I'd recommend the brand, but would suggest getting the next larger sized 900W model. Otherwise, it's a really cute little microwave that will slowly heat your tiniest mugs full of cold stuff while you wait... π
