This product saved me several hours of work and additional project funds. I’m finishing a basement bathroom that had the plumbing installed in the concrete as new construction. Unfortunately, the 2” drain pipe for the vanity sink broke off and was flush with the concrete. Lowe’s & Home Depot had no solution, supplying only fittings that connect over the 2” pipe which would have required me to jack hammer around the existing pipe to “hopefully” clear out an area to slide an external coupler over the 2” pipe incased in concrete. Once receiving the internal coupler, I was able to glue & slide into the pipe in the concrete and add an additional pipe to allow connection with vanity drain. Again, this saved me several hours of work and money with completing connection in less than 20 minutes. Thank you.

Tried to find locally, most didn't even know what I was talking about. Service techs did, but were hesitant to sell me a part - they'd like me to pay them for the whole job. This is what I needed for my hot tub, just about everything was smothered in spray foam a foot thick. Couldn't dig at all around the pipe end to put on a typical coupling.

This coupling fit perfectly in my 2 inch PVC flex pipe in my hot tub when i had to replumb the guts. Be sure to primer and glue accordingly with the proper product. I used the purple primer from oatey along with the medium duty glue. I also used hose clamps to secure it and help prevent leaks.

Unfortunately bought a house with a guest house that has a concrete foundation. The unfortunate part is the contractor who poured the pad must've been blind. Every plumbing flange or drain was set at some sort of an angle. Which in turn made it impossible to make a shower that was properly sealed. This fitting allowed me to place into the shower drain, and correct the bad angle with the appropriate angled fittings above the pad. I did not feel comfortable cutting and jackhammering the pad as the drain sat very close to the corner of the pad, and feared I could make my problem worse. Ultimately I made a pedestal for a 60x30 tub and ran the plumbing above the concrete pad. Long story short, just buy it. It'll save you some hassel.
