How do you know when fully charged? I have one on charge but all I get is a red light. Instructions are dismal.

There is a tiny red LED by the USB-C jack. It turns green when the battery is fully charged. When not plugged in, you can estimate the max charge by setting to full brightness and then seeing how many of the large red LEDs are lit. If all 5 are lit when set to full brightness, then it's within 90% of full charge.

Yes it has a 1/4 20 thread female hole and it's a metal thread and also has two cold shoes one on ether side I am very happy with this

What does the M button do? It says it switches between power and light. By power, does it mean that it shows the remaining charge in the battery? i

Hi when you push the M button the red leds light up showing how much power you have left.
