Smell is good, cleans well

I like to keep my house clean-I have no issues scrubbing counter tops, faucets, or tubs-but I do not like to clean my non-carpeted floors. Before I bought this steam mop I would rarely really clean my hardwood and tile floors-other than just vacuuming regularly. I was excited to receive this mop because I thought it would make cleaning my floors more like vacuuming-I did get a little obsessive when it arrived and accidentally removed the stain off of some areas of my hardwood floor by going over the same spots too much. But using it in the bathrooms which have tile and my kitchen has vinyl it works fabulously. I vacuum the areas first then use the steam mop-because the steam mop doesn’t pick up little bits-but it does remove dirt that is deep in there. The cord is sort of a hassle because it’s floppy and flat-but it’s easy enough to wind back up when done. I like the scented water that came with this package because I like scented things.

So the steam mop is good. Pads fit nice. We have a slight textured floor tile and the pad stays on unlike our last steam mop. The only downfall is that the mop heads push different when used. We noticed the one for deep clean is difficult to push versus the regular head. Love that you can take the head off and use it as a grout brush. That is very helpful with kids that get crayons or dried food into the cracks.

Great steamer! Some things you should know: 1. The ribbed pads offer much more resistance, and makes the steamer harder to push. 2. For normal cleaning, the unribbed pads are fine for us. 3. The Bissell pads are MUCH too expensive. We bought alternative pads that fit well, and cost so little that they are throw-aways. I did the math, and the overall cost is MUCH less per use, and no bleach to ruin your clothes!

I love this thing! It gets anything off of the floor. Sticky mess? It comes right up! Greasy spot? It cleans up easily. I use it once a month on my kitchen floors because they are wood and steam mops really aren't great for wood floors but I like to have really clean floors and this gives me that result. I just use a regular mop in between. It's also great for the bathroom, baseboards- even if you have a stain on the wall, use the spot boost scrubber and the mess is gone. I really think this is the first functional multi use cleaning tool that I actually like to use. I definitely recommend.
