They can taste nearly like fresh, but it takes work
I used up nearly half this can of powdered eggs in an effort to get these to taste something close to freshly scrambled eggs. The goal here is for myself and my picky eater spouse to be able to quickly put together either egg burritos or egg sandwiches on our busy mornings before work. He is the type of person who will never eat a type of food again if he has one negative experience with tasting it, so I have been doing trials with my own decidedly plebeian palate. There are tons of egg breakfast products out there in the frozen section of the store, and I used to spend two hours every few weeks making and freezing burritos. They were great, but I got sick of making them, and started looking for a way to make a big batch of eggs without a huge mess in the kitchen. Have I accomplished this goal? Not really, but I still think it's easier than cracking 18 eggs and I HATE going to the store, so I'll probably buy another can at some point. Note that I have tried this both with and without powdered butter and powdered whole milk. The powdered stuff alone didn't seem to help get the flavor more fresh-tasting, so here is what finally worked for me: 2 c. powdered eggs 1 c powdered whole milk (sub regular milk if you want, same amount) 1 c warm water 2 c heavy cream (whipping cream) 1 T sour cream season to taste - sometimes I use taco seasoning, sometimes I use a chicken flavored bullion, but I always use a salt-free herb mixture that starts with "Mrs." Put the main dry ingredients through a sifter and into mixing bowl. Then add the warm water and mix with the whip attachment until mostly free of lumps. It will not get to totally free until.. add heavy cream and sour cream, and whip until it is fully smooth. Then either add seasoning if desired just prior to cooking the egg in whatever way a liquid egg product can be cooked. I add it to a skillet of almost-finished fried diced potatoes, and scramble. After it is all cooked and cooled, I put it in a sealed container in the refrigerator, and after heating it up in the microwave each morning, I sprinkle some shredded cheese over it. I'm happy with this method, and after a few times it gets faster and easier. My spouse approves of the product produced by this method too, so he is still able to make his morning burrito. He doesn't know I put milk and sour cream in it or he wouldn't touch it, having a unique aversion to most white consumables. For this reason, I believe I can without hesitation recommend this product.

Powdered eggs.
Bought these powdered eggs as an emergency back source of protein. With eggs being recalled all over the country this may be a safer alternative.

Little security to have to pantry
Keep in pantry. I bought these before price went up too much more to have in my pantry just in case. We don't eat eggs every day and I want to keep something for homemade foods that I'm starting to make more of. Just a little bit a insurance for me to have them in my pantry. The package came packed well, no dents looks good.

Importing products into Australia. Things you don't know!
Unfortunately, neither the seller nor myself had any idea that the Australian Customs required an import license to bring this product into Australia despite the seller having brought this product into Australia several times before so; it had to go back to Amazon for a refund. As a result, I can not give a rating. The seller was very prompt and helpful in organizing a refund for me so 100% to the seller.
