One word up front, these bulbs can be installed with the polarity reversed, and will not function, but reverse them in the socket, they should work. They are bright! I only wanted to do this job one time, and it's less expensive to buy 10 of these than 4 regular bulbs from outside sources. These T-5s fit perfectly in the original sockets from the cluster, but the sockets included would not fit. That's OK, nothing was wrong with the originals. My guages are no longer half-dark, and I also replaced the turn signal bulbs, which used 9 bulbs of the 10 in the pack (includes the shift selector). They come in a resealable pouch. The turn signals being as bright as they are reduces the chance you'll forget to cancel them, they are much, much brighter than stock, they'll get your attention! One was a failed bulb, the solder was broken at the top bulb, and would not function. With the guage lights, there are 2 types of incandescent bulbs avaible that will fit the sockets, if you get the wrong one, it can damage your cluster. The LEDs produce no heat, so no risk, there.
