100% I do recommend this flash cards so helpful and more words in back as well and worth of the money! This helps understand what are vowels sounds and my 1st grader to read!

Love these flash cards! They have been very helpful to my 5 year old in kindergarten this year. The box says for ages 6 & up but I prefer to be prepared and not delayed. I have also had my older children practice these flash cards as a "reminder" (hello) for vowel usage on spelling tests; in addition to all of the different letter combinations that are spelled the same but pronounced differently (bread & steak - mouse & should - girl & turtle etc.) Who made up the English language anyway? These could also be very helpful to children or people that do not use English as their first language. Great resource!

These flash cards, too, were used in my adult ESOL class, as well as a set to family menbers w/young children to help in the reading process. My ESOL students liked them because the "word families" & parts of speech, along w/the textbooks, helped w/both pronunciation of English & also, grammar. The cards provide another way of practice. Our family uses these cards w/their young children, for basically the same successful purposes.

I ordered this for my 6-yo grandson who is in the first grade, but doing virtual learning due to covid. His parents are using the flash cards and like them.

I like the images so if he can’t sound out the vowels then he can easily see the image to assist him in reading. It makes learning fun n easy. Love the phonics system. You can yea h ahh child how to read.

One of the best purchase I have made for my ESE classroom! The cards were used in small group instruction with 6 2nd graders. Supports my Really Great Reading Lessons. A must for remediation! Wish I had set for all 6 to send home for practice at night. Seen great results even within 1 day and 4 cards! Great for showing the difference between long vowels and short vowel sounds!

These are normal flash cards as far as quality and size (just like you remember from school) and they are a good way for students to practice the vowel sounds. Helpful tips and some fun games for solo and group play included as well. Highly recommend for your beginning reader(s).
