Bought this to use in our temporary kitchen during construction. It works great. However, the high BTU burners are a good/bad thing. At 20,000 BTU’s each, water boils in a snap, but eggs burn in a second. It takes a little bit of time to figure that out so if you’re cooking anything sensitive and don’t want it burnt, start the burner and immediately turn it to low and adjust the heat from there. Small pots and pans are also tippy on the open grates, so get yourself a pair of cast iron diffusers too.

Purchased this for an outdoor Kitchen and highly impressed with this product. Per some reviews it does cook a little hot but I am normally cooking larger portions for larger groups so no problem here and also great for frying. Very well built and aesthetically pleasing and an absolute bargain for the price! At this point couldn't be happier with this product!!

I used this to replace the cooktop on the outside of my camper. It worked as described. It does cook HOT, no low and slow option here. I'd recommend cast iron for this stove. You can adjust the burner underneath....unless you secured it to table top like I did.

If it was possible to make this any cheaper I cannot imagine how. The metal is so thin it can be dented with a finger. In a moderate wind, the burners keep blowing out but the gas keeps flowing. Not a good feature. Since you can't really see the flame, you can only tell it's out from the gas smell and lack of heat output. I'll wait to see if it works well on a calm day. I've reduced my rating since I attempted to french-fry some potatoes over it and the heat was inadequate to handle even a 1 pound batch. The burner was glowing brightly, but the pot is held so far away the heat just dissipates before it does and good. Overall, it'll end up in the dumpster.

While it is a bit pricey for a stove of this kind, the quality and finish are worth it - almost - with two major flaws. 1. The amount of heat (flame size) keeps varying every time I use it. Most often, the flame is so low that it takes forever to heat up the contents. I have switched out the tube connector (hose), cylinders, before attributing the flaw to the stove itself. 2. As pointed out by other reviews, the metal plate under the flame should have been more corrosion resistant. Within 3-4 months, it has rust all over the place. Mild wiping and cleaning makes no difference. Slightly harsher cleaning with vinegar to remove the rust left pits, making it collect fresh layer of rust/debris. While the glass surface makes it easy to clean, these plates make the stove look so unclean and ugly that I keep it covered to hide the unpleasant sight. These could easily be avoided by using better quality metal and/or making it easy to swap out.

I have an outdoor kitchen and a lot of wind. This cooktop is great. It never blows out. It’s small & easy to clean. Nice glass top. I keep my cast iron pans upside down over the burners to protect them from the weather. The stove seems very efficient with the gas. Low heat is quite high. not very suitable for simmering , great for pan grilling and stir fry.
