First of all, Kelli is amazing, and this book is just a small snapshot of how. It's a fully functional camera, and the pleasure of setting it up and trying it out is way beyond what it would be if it were just a standalone camera -- the joy is in how she contrived it all! Btw, my photos were so-so, but that's on me. Follow the directions and you'll get a great, nostalgic look at the world around you.

I love the concept of this book but it is deceptive in seeming that it's simple. You first have to have a light free room. It's definitely not a kids book. I bought it for my niece, but we didn't have a dark room so now it just sits on my bookshelf.

Looks like a really cool book, my daughter was so excited to get it - so excited that she opened the small 5pack of 3.5x5in Ilford photo paper included when I wasn't looking. Such a major bummer.I can't find anywhere to get replacement paper unless I want to purchase 100 sheets, and it's impossible to find that size in Ilford brand.Can I use another brand of paper?Who knows if the chemistry will work the same?Really wish the book included instructions on how to get more or how to use other brand paper.As such despite being an awesome book it looks like we're not going to be able to use it, which is a huge tragedy.
