It's perfect!!! I intend to use it mainly for appearance at the Renaissance Festivals I attend, but I didn't expect it to be so light weight, and it fits my outfit perfectly!

The weight is not bad at all, the hand guard has a really nice thickness to it. The blade is really shiny and the point is a little dangerous... Its not a toy at all. The quality is very nice, the size is short enough that its not cumbersome, the scabbard is decent enough. I painted my handguard a metallic gold and used a hairdryer to dry it fast between coats. I think it looks pretty amazing with the gold paint. I plan to zip tie it shut so my kids cant open it when Im not using it for promotional photos.

A sword that IS a sword. Mine is in perfect shape. Frankly was surprised by the grade and weight of the blade’s steel. The guard is metal (I think somebody referred to it as plastic etc?) and there is no looseness within the handle grip, the guard and the blade. The blade is solid stainless steel that should be able to be sharpened to a fine cutting edge. The scabbard that some have complained about has no issues. It is well made. I have a USN officer sword that doesn’t have the same good feel and is much more expensive.

The quality of the product was as expected. I have ordered these numerous times in the past and will continue to order in the future. I'm not sure if this was an Amazon or supplier decision but before I could receive the order from the delivery person I had to provide a code that was sent to me shortly before the delivery. This resulted in multiple failed delivery attempts as I live in a code with a package receiving area so the delivery was not made unless they called me when the driver was there and I was able to quickly find the code that was emailed to me. This is not a good business decision. I order from Amazon because of convivence.

After reading some reviews, I guess it's random whether the buyer receives a sharp sword or not. Mine WAS VERY SHARP, pointy and potentially lethal! It probably wouldn't hold up in actual sword-to-sword combat, but it could cause severe injury and/or death if one was careless with it. Beware before bringing to certain venues where this may pose a legal hazard.

Perfect for an adult pirate costume. It has weight to it, a shiny blade that doesn’t feel “too sharp” but I still wouldn’t let children play with it. It feels solid.

Nicely weighted, decent build quality, only issue I have is the handle has a small blemish out of the box

It's a really cool sword just something to put on a wall for decoration has no edge on it it's as full as a butterfly knife maybe even duller and it had no point on the end but still a cool sword for looks

Es mejor que en la foto. Tiene algo de filo la hoja. El tamaño y los detalles de la vaina y la espada son hermosos.
