Tabac OriginalShaving Lotion for Men, 150 ml, Infused with a Delicate Scent

this product was highly rated in an article for pre-shave lotions so I tried a bottle. Using an electric razor, the product does a very nice job in soothing the skin and aiding the whiskers to stand up for a closer shave. The one drawback that I have found with this product is it's availability. While it's available on amazon, that seems to be a sporadic availability, apparently due to the fact that the product is imported from Germany. I do recommend it but I suggest that when you find it in stock on amazon that you might consider purchasing two bottles to give yourself time to order another when one is emptied.

This pre electric shave lotion did a good job. Not as slippery as some others, but I found it to be good and nice scent.

It smells good, like the aftershave, but it doesn't feel like it really does what a pre-electric should do. It's not astringent enough. Maybe the alcohol content isn't high enough, or maybe it's something else, but it really doesn't . . . add anything to an electric shave. Except the scent, or course.

Nowhere as good as Williams Lectric Shave. Too expensive to finish a distant second place to a grocery store brand, not worth the money.

As much as I like the Tabac After Shave Lotion this Pre Electric Shave Lotion just fails to do it's job. First, it does not make the hairs stand up for a better shave. Second, it provides no lubrication. Third, on top of providing no lubrication it seems to strip away any oils you may have on your skin. The end result is that my electric shaver instead of gliding smoothly across the skin, it moves more like a rock that you skip across the pond.My Norelco S9721 worked much harder to complete a shave. Usually the battery goes from 100% to 90% - 92%. Using this Tabac Pre Electric Shave Lotion the battery went from 100% to 82%. At the end the shaving head was much warmer. The shave does not feel as close either.Sorry to say this Tabac, but the much cheaper Williams Lectric Shave does a much better job.

Goos general aftershave. Very mild aroma
