Can this be used in the shower?

I was not very impressed with this product because it required a lot of oil for not much aroma. A diffuser works much better- I purchased it to go in a closet without a electrical outlet. If you intended to put it actually IN the shower, it is really porous so it will absorb any water and I am not sure if it will achieve what you are hoping for. Also- I suspect it might scratch a fiberglass shower.

Can this sit on top of a wood burning stove?

Since it is made of ceramic, it should endure such high heat and would not melt, but it may change its color when used with oils or such, so simply not recommended to use that way.
