I think Hivox markets this as a sea-sickness aid as well and I cannot vouch for that. I don't get sea sick but I have a friend who goes on cruises and I am actually anxious for her to try it the next time she goes. I have been using it for a few weeks and I have no rash like others have said (it states if you get a rash to discontinue use) and some people seem to say it hurts. It certainly does not hurt me. It seems to me if it hurts that a person has a REALLY low tolerance to pain. I started with it on the lowest setting and have moved it up to about the middle now. So far, I am very happy. It is not a total "wear this once and you will sleep like a log" but it is a device (strange as it may be) to assist you in getting better sleep. If you don't like it, I am fairly sure you could return it but I would recommend people try it out.
