Dickies Men's Original 874 Work Pant

I've used Dickies work pants in the past and have never been disappointed. This was my first time ordering from Amazon and still very pleased with the pants. I ordered the khaki color variant, which are a little darker than normal khaki (see picture), but still very nice. Here are a few pro/cons to these:Pros:- Great selection of sizes. I require a smaller waist and longer legs. Usually these are hard to find, but I was able to find the length I needed. I needed 32x37- Great price: Honestly, you cannot beat the price for the quality you are getting, espeically if you find it hard to get work pants. I paid roughly what I would have in stores, but I would have had to find a store with the size I needed- Great quality. These feel very durable. The ones I've used in the past have held up great! I still use some from when I was working on an assembly line for an auto manufacturer.Cons:- I did not realize that the 37 lengths require you to hem them yourself. Be sure to check if these come unhemmed or not. I was able to use hemming tape to get mine set to the right length. I posted a picture to show the results. Not quite a good as a sew job, but good enough.- Front pockets are very shallow. I carry my wallet in my front pocket quite often with little effort in jeans like Wranglers, but these are very shallow and come to a pretty sharp point. I can fit my keys in them and that is about it.Overall, I recommend giving these a try if you are looking for a good set of work pants that you plan to use for a while. I'll probably order more in the future.

I despised buying new slacks every 2 years because the cotton ones from JCPenny wore out. The material they make these out of is spectacular. They may not be the most flattering fit (high-waisted, ugly belt loops, etc), but the indestructibility of the material more than makes up for it in my eyes. The material isn't what I would call "comfortable." But who cares - they are everlasting. They do soften up a bit over time, but it probably takes 30+ washes before you'll notice. I take the Dickies tag off of mine as I don't want snooty clients thinking I'm wearing a "working man's" pant while handling their investments. Little do they know that these are the best dress slacks of all time. When a pair eventually needs to be cycled out of rotation due to an accident, stain, or other problem, they make great work pants for around the house. They hold up to just about any activity from lawn mowing to chainsawing to oil changes on the cars. Great pants. I do wish I could buy this color in the US directly from Dickies. I had to buy them here to get this color for some reason.

Big fan of these pants, but sizing seems a little off. I own multiple pairs of 34x34 jeans that fit fine, yet the 34x34 Dickies I purchased I could barely connect. I had to return them and swap them for 36x34's which fit more like my other 34x34's. So maybe get one size larger than you think. Otherwise I like them.

I decided to get myself a pair of these because they've been trendy for a while now. I'm 5'2, 29" waist, and 40" hips. It falls right below my ankle, but doesn't touch the ground. I bought the 34w x 28l and it fits fine! I would just suggest you DONT get these IF you do not like a sort of papery/thin material to your pants cause these definitely has that feeling.

I used to be able to get these Dickies 874 pants with a 31 inch inseam. They fit me great.Now, with corporations cutting inventories and costs, I find Dickies has also leaned into that approach at the expense of their customers. To get a good fit I now have to alter the pant length. Inconvenient.Otherwise, I like these pants and have purchased many. Oh, the "tunnel" style belt loops are a good robust design but I wish Dickie would make the tunnels just a wee bit bigger to better accommodate wider work belts.

Dickies pants and shirts are made the way they ‘oughta be! Shirts have two generous pockets with button down flaps. The 874 line of khaki pants have not failed me in 45 years of wear! Nuff said….

I purchased these for work. I'm a teacher and day to day wear has caused little holes and tears in regular khaki pants.These are pretty durable, they fit accurately at the waist, maybe a little loose between there and the knee.My only complaint is getting my phone out of the front pocket. I have a large Samsung in OtterBox case and sometimes it is very difficult to retrieve.Also the belt loops are pretty narrow so a few of my belts are difficult to thread.

If you plan on using these for work, buy a belt or measure before buying, bought my size and it was way to big.

These are good work trousers, look like chinos, they are perfect for working in the guarden or if your in and out of a truck, they are not jobsite work ware but great for most situations needing a hard waring trouser. They do come up small, I had to go up a size for the waist but the inseam was just right. My only criticism is that they have a very low if ant amount of cotton in their material, this became an issue for me when I was working with a bonfire, it actually felt as if they were melting, so the same thing that mad them robust is weakness in some circumstances. Good value, although ordered on Amazon UK these came from the States, they are a bit cheaper on the US site, but once you add tax, US prices do not include sales tax, shipping the cost is better on the UK site

GREAT!!! The trousers are very tight fitting I’m a 30” but 31” would’ve given me more room as I’ve got a bit of a muffin top waist after lockdown however still a great fit ... advice to go a size bigger or diet a bit which I did ... these trousers are great quality and worth buying ...

These trousers are robust, good thick material and they fit UK sizing as expected. They feel good to wear and they also look smart. The only slight doubt I have is over the clasp at the waist, but time will tell and the zip feels tough. Good side pockets for depth - the back pocket is not so deep but I haven't lost anything out of it. But overall, these are the best trousers I have owned for a long time, so if like me you have been disappointed with internet trousers before, try these - well worth the money - I recommend you give these a try.

This product is one of my favourite, it's a standard workman fit, loose enough to allow you to work and move easily, but looks also great and semi formal when standing, it is available in different colours. The material is tough enough for a worker and will not rip easily, the stitching is solid. The waist on this is a little high, meaning is doesnt sit on the lower waist like casual trousers, sits more like formal suit trousers.
