Tasty little devils
This is a great product. These cook right up in the Instant Pot in 6 minutes. We always soak 'em for an hour or so before cooking. I've gone through about 10 bags now and haven't found any stones/sand so that's a plus for this product. Did I mention the flavor is magical. Wonderful meat substitute for this vegetarian family.
This is the 2nd time I have bought this wonderful lentils in bulk. We are a strictly vegetarian family and eat quite a bit of lentils. I love how "meaty" and delicious this particular kind of lentil is. It is much higher in protein than other lentils, which are already rather high in protein! They cook up beautifully when following the instructions on the package.

Nothing particularly special about these. The packaging, however is very high quality. Bad packaging is a huge pet peeve of mine! They have a good texture when cooked properly, and pair well with barley, brown rice (makes a complete protein, too), soy sauce, and garlic. This is the only rice that I use. I really like these lentils because they are organic and were fairly reasonably priced. Just looked up new lentil recipes since I can't always eat lentil soup. Would recommend

Delicious Product
Lentils were clean coming out of the bags. They cooked well in water and broth. We only buy organic and these are excellent.

Wonderful flavorful lentils! I Typically cook them using my THERMOS vacuum thermal insulation cooker shuttle chef 1.6L off-white KBF-1600 OWH (Japan import / The package and the manual are written in Japanese) . Put water and lentils into the pot, bring water to a boil, put the pot in the vacuum insulated container, and let the soup cook for one or two hours.
