Epica Silicone Coated Ironing Board Cover- Resists Scorching and Staining - 15"x54" (Board not Included) (White and Grey Lattice)

I just replaced an old, old, ironing board cover. The ironing board I have is nearly antique (an old fold up wooden board that was my mother's. Probably goes back to the 1930's). It is a bit larger than the dimension that were given in the description and at first I thought I would have to return it, but I stretche and stretched and go another inch out of it. It holds up beautifully, especially when I get overzealous and fill my iron with too much water and it spills out. The water is easy to wipe off without the cover getting wet. Items I iron also glide easier over the board. I do wonder how many people will read this as the number of women that I know that still iron are few!

I feel rather ancient after having received my Epica ironing board cover. It is awesome, actually more than awesome, it is Epic-a marvel to behold. To remove wrinkles, I've used irons that create tremendous amounts of steam; I've used presses, starch, no starch, water, no water, angry stares, a bag of middle fingers--I've tried it ALL to make ironing easier. Being ambidextrous, ironing would perhaps seem to be easier & quicker, switching hands, but when you do not have the right tools, what do you do? And never once did it occur to me that my ironing COVER could be an issue. I thought all covers were made the same, so I never bothered to investigate this.BUT NOW, shoooooooot, gentlemen, ladies, the last letter in my acronym will now & for always be properly maintained. ~Smooth is in session, and Epica has taught me a very valuable lesson~I guess I'm confessing, and though I upgraded my iron, Epica is also a true blessing~I have an attitude about everything I do, and to enhance my loveliness is not just for me: it's also for you~No matter what you wear, you shouldn't have a wrinkle~Care enough to add some sprinkle to always make sure your ensemble blissfully twinkles~Fitting like a glove, this is like no other~Whether you want creases or no, Epica literally & truly has you & your ironing board covered~It doesn't cost much, they're clearly thinking about you & me~And along with their low, low price comes a two year warranty~So for just a little bit of money that you'll have to spend~The price & coverage ensures it's undoubtedly a win-win~Keeping It So Smooth, that's what Epica is all about~You won't be disappointed~~No diggity~No doubt~

Thanks for asking for my feedback.I bought them item on Amazon as I was impressed when I noted good reviews by buyers, & really looking forward to use it. I thought I was buying from the manufacturer to ensure genuine item. However, when I received item, I was immediately disappointed by INFERIOR QUALITY(eg thin, poor fit) and the packaging cover- very DIFFERENT from the one seen on Amazon eg did not show 100% 2year WARRANTY, & many other details. So my logical conclusion is it is NOT GENUINE. Many RELIABLE internet sources warned of fake ,COUNTERFEIT products even those sold on Amazon especially from third party sellers like you. I realize returning inconveniences all 3 of us- the buyer(me), Amazon & the seller(you) but I returned it as I hate wastage & I really do need a high quality ironing board cover. I hope you understand.

Just over six months ago I purchased a Checkys Deals Silver Silicone Metallic Wide Top 18" X 48" - 49" Ironing Board Cover and Thick 6mm PAD from Amazon. It is a nice ironing board cover and I was happy with it. One of my cats decided that the ironing board would be a great place to do a little claw cleaning and she put several holes in it. The damage was not a result of any defect in the cover. I am not sure that Kevlar would have escaped unscathed. I tried ironing on the damaged cover but realized I was going to have to replace it as the iron was catching on the holes. I went back to Amazon and decided to look at all the available silicone coated covers and I found this one. This one had more positive reviews than the Checkys cover so I ordered it. I can honestly say that the Epica is, in my opinion, the better of the two because:1. It has more padding than the Checkys cover.2. It fit on top of the old cover giving it even more padding. I had to remove the old cover to use the Checkys cover.3. It has two velcro straps to hold the cover in place. I added two more Dritz fasteners but I doubt I really need them. The Checkys cover has no straps and it moved around a bit. I had trouble trying to use the Dritz straps on the Checkys whereas they fit fine on the Epica.The overall quality of the Epica cover is just better. The one piece of advice I would give to anyone buying this cover is to make sure to install it nose end first. There is more material at the nose of this cover and while that makes for a nice secure fit, it does make it pretty much impossible to put the wide end on first.

I received a piece of junk. This is not an Epica iron board cover, it is a Han Han, made in China piece of junk. It is 2-inches too short for a standard 54-inch ironing board. There are no elasticized edges or Velcro straps as advertised, it only has a flimsy string that you are supposed to cinch down and tie but you cannot because it is too short. It is advertised as generously sized, ha! Maybe if your ironing board is made of 1/4 inch plywood you could make it fit if the kite string doesn't break. I waited 15 days for this item to arrive. This is the worst item that I have ever purchased on Amazon. Buyer beware!!!

El burro mide 1.37 m de largo y a penas le entró la funda. Como viene con elástico resistente, se ajustó bien. A lo ancho quedó bien y trae sus dos cintas de velcro para ajustarlo. Se ve de buena calidad el material y las costuras.

Très beau tissus avec une brillance dans le matériel. Molleton et tissus très épais. Bien coussiné. Large velcro pour ajustement. Vraiment bien fait. Il faut bien l’étirer en le mettant par le bout en pointe en premier sinon on a l’impression qu’il est trop petit. Incomparable à côté des anciens recouvrement en coton qui sont bien plus minces. Très satisfaite de mon achat, mieux que ce que je croyais !

Seems fine so far. Haven’t used it a lot, so time will tell.

Quedó muy bien la medida, solo que se pega un poco la tela con el calor como si fuera estática y no se resbala bien para mover la prenda
