Got this for my 8yr old. He opened all the packages dumped them in 1 plie. I thought oh boy this will take FOREVER! BUT... the step by step instructions were so detailed he did it all by himself in no time. Does exactly what it says it does. He added other legos to it, to expand his imagination. Still goes fast doesn't fall over. Great price. Happy child= happy mom! Oh and the seller is awesome i had questions and they emailed me back quickly and answered all my questions. charges quickly and last a good amount of time. Very impressed. Will be buying more of their products

I purchased this building block robot as an activity to do with my son. He has discovered robots thanks to Star Wars and Wall-e so he is hooked. As for most young boys he is also extremely invested into LEGO. We have been doing special father son building projects on the weekend and I purchased this specifically for those weekend times together. Now I did purchase this knowing that it would be a bit advanced for my son but it’s because I wanted to challenge him. We worked on it together and he didn’t get frustrated once. Working on this building block robot challenged him but was also enjoyable for me because it’s not too kiddie. He mastered the remote control in about 45 minutes which I was pleased with again considering how much younger he is. The pieces fit together well and were easy for him to manipulate. We of course had to name our robot and we finally settled on the name Wheely. I am fairly certain he likes the W as in Wall-e. It gives him a personality and my son prefers referring to him by his name.

During COVID-19 kids are trapped home and it's more challenging for parents to keep them busy.What I love about this piece is that keeping kids busy for a long time.Pieces are a good fit with regular lego parts, which means it's up to kid's imagination what they want to build next. I was able to print some more projects for the kids. The best part is that kids don't even think they are studying.STEM Robot opened more doors for researching and creating. I definitely would recommend this. It already comes with 2 projects for the price of one.Be Safe everyone

enjoyed building this with my 6 y.o. son very much. the instructions are different from format of Lego brands, but once you understand the iconography it is fine (e.g., the confusing initial picture with 13 pegs just means that the numbers are the number of pegs and 1:1 is the actual size of the building block). the drill model was awesome, it moves backwards and forwards while the drill rotates. For the price, this is a very well done set, educational, teaches gear use by demonstration, basics of how a motor works. I wonder if there are additional assembly instructions for other devices people have come up with.

When I got the robot, I was not aware it was going to be basically a plastic block assembly toy, similar to "that" brand (hint: rhymes with "eggo"). It was a great surprise when my son opened it as his Christmas present, and saw his beloved and familiar blocks.The quality is superb. I have purchased non-main-brand blocks before and there was always something lacking. Not here, oh no. Everything fits perfectly.The battery and remote are also noteworthy. They are fully compatible with the main brand, and the functionality allows for further creativity, specially if you have a motor already.It is a great product at a great price.

This seem way be a nice way to build a Lego type of Stem. How ever the instructions are poor for a 6 + year old let alone a 10 year old. This product should be classified as a 10+. There are over 600 pieces to build one car or robot. It seems like it does not steer. One axil drive the unit. I am disappointed in the over all instructions. I would think twice about this purchase. Also there are 2 guides for only 2 not 12 robot designs in details from level 1 to level 2, easy to build as guide step by step. Only 2 designs one robot and one car. Also it does not steer. Only one motor to one axil.

Was a great gift for my 6 year old, has whole bunch a small pieces and it took us a little while to put together, since there is a few options what can you put together, we started with a robot, while putting things together we let the main body to charger since it comes with rechargeable battery, will keep buying same series toys for better adventure

My kids love BattleBots and these is a cool alternative to the hex kind. With our help, they were actually able to make their own....also, I wish Lego would use a similar packaging. The white tray was very helpful in organizing our pieces
