This is a telephoto mount for the Swiss arca style tripod. Very well made out of aluminum and allows me to mount my Canon telephoto lens directly to my tripod. I am very happy with the product.

Great for arca swiss tripod mounts. Makes mounting large lenses on my tripod much quicker, and dont have to worry about a screw getting loose.

The replacement foot seems to be pretty solid. However, if you carry your Sony camera and 200-600mm lens by the foot, you better be sure the attachment knob is locked down tight. If it loosens up, you run the risk of pressing the detachment lever while carrying it and having the foot come off the lens.

Bought the lens used came without a base and found this. This is a super solid piece when tightened down. Spring loaded retainer is a bit flimsy but entirely made out of metal. I Have no worries about carrying the l and camera by this zero movement when on lense multiple thread size holes in the base. this allows me to balance setup perfectly on a tripod base and adjust forward or back to make it easier control. The base is 4”x1.25” and has 2 standard mounting holes for cameras that are center to center 1.25” apart 3rd hole is larger. This fits directly into my tripod’s head.

Works

The big plus is the Arca Swiss tripod mount. I feel it could be sturdier and that is a negative for an expensive fairly heavy lens.

Recently purchased and tried out. Fits the Sony 200-600mm like a glove. I mostly run mine on a tri or monopod and this is a necessity. I was having issues finding a mount that wouldn't "slip" on the original foot and the weight just made it impossible. This fixed it with the push of the button and a turn of the set screw. The built-in Arca Swiss mount should be on the lens from the factory, but this solves the problem. It could be a little thicker, but I haven't seen an issue yet. I will update if there are any issues.

it works just fine the way it's supposed to. chinese products are inconsistent, but this is a good one with good value. I could afford really right stuff or kirk, but they are just so ridiculously priced i don't think they are worth their prices. and i do own many RRS and Kirk products. I always buy alternatives whenever they are well made, such as this particular lens foot.

Leider nur in schwarz, auch wäre ein etwas abgerundetes Design so wie beim Original angenehmer zum tragen aber die Passgenauigkeit ist super und es macht was es soll!

Se monte facilement sur l'objectif et très bien aussi sur une tête Arcasuiss. Très bon produit.

Looks and feels high quality. Fits perfectly in seconds, no tools required. Had it for a couple of weeks. Often use the foot to hand hold my lens and camera which weighs about 6 lbs. Has not come loose. Very, very impressed.

I was reluctant on buying a lense collar from a couple of major U.S manufacturing companies for a lot of money. After all cheaping out on what hold your expensive kit is a very bad idea, BUT, i gave this one a go to see how I got on with it. And after having used it for a couple of months ( no extreem winter weather testing) I’ve decided to keep it as it does the very job well. I needs didn’t want me to buy the much more expensive ones on the market. My only complaint would be that I’d have liked it to be a little bit longer for my hand to fully fit. Overall, an excellent product for it’s price point ( i paid (£38.49)

This replacement foot for the Sony 200-600mm lens is from China but it is very good quality and cheaper than some of their competitors. It works well with my arch-swiss ball head and gimbal head.
