Tiny pieces will be a chore, and better done by hand, but anything larger than a quarter or half dollar should foil faster and easier with the Glastar Foiler. The only thing that might not work well are deep, inside curves as you can't do an inside curve that is smaller than the diameter of the wheels at the front end of the foiler. ==Scott Sunshine Glassworks Ltd. The machine needs to be attached to the table so that it does not wobble when you are using it. I don't see why it can't be used for beveled glass as long as you are aware that part of the bevel will be lost due to the width of the foil. I did find that the Glastar Glass Foiler was awkward to use despite many hours of foiling: it seems that when I foil by hand, the foil goes on in a more even manner. Have fun with stained glass, whatever and however you decide to do your craft. **Q: Will this stay sturdy if I screw this to a heavy board and put the board on a table?** A: Yes that is the best way to hold it steady.
