For safety reasons would not suggest doing this repair from the bottom. By the $12 spring tool and just gain access from the front I was about to just replace the pair bring 15 years old but this $45 repair all in saved $2800 on new units and pedestals Back to the actual pump motor It’s actually a little bit more quiet than before the pump failed Quality seems to be top notch Even if I get a year out of this water pump motor, I would definitely buy again. You can do the replacement myself and hold onto my money for new units as long as possible. The pump works, but it is loud. The part was easy to install. It looked just like the part that got replaced. Fits perfectly and pumps the water out, but it makes a racket while it does it.
